Ms Courtney is the principal of the school where Mr Brown works and she is his boss.
They often interact, almost every episode they do.
Ms Courtney initially did not want to hire Mr Brown because she favoured women more, she gave him a 1 month trial and fired him, but after Ms Hardacre started to reorganize her school and is about to get her job, she dismissed her and re-hired Mr Brown.
When none of his students passed the exam, she gave him a stern warning, which prompted him to write a nasty letter to her, only it was not given to her.
In Season 3, after being bribed by an Arab, she employed his chauffer despite the rules saying that students cannot enroll mid-term.
After Jock caused chaos, Ms Courtney made Mr Brown teach the Arab Scottish English.
After Mr Brown left for a new job, Ms Courtney hired Mr Wilkins but that did not go well and she rehired Mr Brown on a temporary basis.
She was also the presiding Magistrate and warned Mr Brown if he gets in trouble again he will be severely dealt with.
Mr Brown called her names without knowing she was behind him.
In Season 4, they still interacted, and I included bonus clips inside
