As an Irish person I feel this series will be SA’s unfortunately. I hope I’m wrong but I think they will have the edge. Gibson Park is a massive, massive loss. He’s our engine. Tim from Cape Town you have to do a trip to Stellenbosch. One of the most beautiful towns in SA. Also to see the School Paul Roos Gimnasium with its impresive buildings and University who have both produced more than 50 rugby Springboks. Also to visit the schools rugby ficilities, Makotter field. Probably unique in the world of school rugby. Then to the University's rugby complex with the Danie Craven Stadium. The setting something special ! Makotter was a Springbok selector for years in early years of 1900's. The school inherited the rugby land from him. Paul Roos was the Springbok captain of year 1906 to UK. Later became headmaster of the school - a legend !

Glad you having a great time in SA. Awesome to have you here. Thanks for all the complements you giving to SA and our people. Appreciated. Amazing to think where we were as a rugby nation and a rugby destination when Rassie took over in 2018. Keep up the good work and enjoy your time here.

I feel like that’s surely a part of every coaches analysis. To know who they’re playing and prep for it. They generally just don’t release it publicly. I think anyone with 15 minutes of rugby knowledge can pick the Ireland team

To be fair both the boks and the abs have gone through a huge lull in performance over the last 4 years whilst Ireland have been on their highest of highs. I would of expected that win % over the last years. Interesting to see where we are all at in the years to come.

I'm not sure that producing a probable 23 based on a pretty stable Ireland team is genius. If he can pick the B&I Lions 23 for the 1st test now, I'll be a little more impressed. He's involved with an incredible team who have been dominant for the past few years. He can say pretty much what he wants and his team will still almost certainly perform to an elite level.

Bench is crucial especially at Loftus. It's very winnable there If you can withstand the onslaught early.. The Boks are surprisingly vulnerable at altitude especially late in the game. ABS have a 5 game win streak at Loftus.

In South Africa rugby seems to be a lot more than just a game.

Rassie 😂 already infiltrated the irish team by sending Jacques nieaber to go and coach at the irish epicenter leinster .😂

As Tim said, Ireland have won 8 from the last 12 games and 3 on the trot, law of averages would suggest that a bit of luck has to go SA way, look at games between NZ and SA, one team wins a couple then the other wins a couple and mostly with him advantage, unless SA used up all their luck at the world cup. As an Ireland fan would just like to see a good competitive game.
