Normally you press L1 on PS and LB on Xbox to make the player start a run, but what I think he did since the left back didn't even have the ball is changing the custom tactics and putting the LB on Attacking runs: Join the attack" instead of Stay back while attacking & Run type: Mixed Attack

First of all remember that in the first half and at the beginning of the second half Anders had 3 or 4 clear chances, it could be even 5-0 at that point. Second, Anders moved his gk in almost every situation that people think it should be a goal for his opponent, it was not Cech alone, it Anders who moved him in proper directions.
