While they should definitely have a baby together. I doubt that will happen in the first sequel because it's way too early now. They haven't even developed their relationship yet. They didn't even kiss in the first movie. I'm sure they'll develop their romantic relations as the series goes on and at some point in the series will be married with kids and Mario becomes king of the mushroom kingdom. Which will most likely be the end of the franchise.
