Min Heejin is so goddamn sketchy, I'm not even that surprised that she's in this kind of controversy. It's disgusting that she's using NewJeans as a shield for herself and acting like an immature kpop stan and not like the grown woman she is. It was also super unprofessional of her to publicly call out ILLIT and risk them facing the wrath of NewJeans fandom (honestly though, it was probably what she intended to happen). Also, I'm devastated that cherry bullet is disbanding 😢 They were one of the groups that made me a girl group fan and I love them so much. FNC sucks and I hope the girls succeed in their future careers, whatever they may be.

the only case i think mhj has regarding illit is that their hairstylist USED to be newjeans hairstylist, but that person stopped working with them after ditto era & another hairstylist was hired during get up era…

I feel so bad for all of these Hybe girl groups. It really feels like they can't catch a break, but Strawberry Shortcake Gowon will make up for it once she hits theaters

About #5 I love Lilly so much, and part of that love stems from my original fear of the name being bad. And now unfortunately since some annoying, loud minority blinks and nmixx stans, they had to change it. (I find it odd, because back in O.O era a few lisa fans were getting upset about Lily’s birth name resembling their unofficial fandom name and the fact that she had short hair w/ bangs..and now they both apparently rush to bully the next lillie/Lily they see?) I just hope the next one still sounds good. “Willit”? “Violet” I think violet could be nice.

I always thought MHJ is trouble but never imagine it would blow up this bad and literally drag two groups directly into the heat of the drama. I would understabd min heejin's argument about illit being similar to newjeans if it wasn't for the fact that she's literally name dropping the group (super unprofessional) and that she's being accused of literal crimes such as illegally sharing info and her only response to that is accuse hybe of copying her (mind you she did not even create newjeans concept Y2K has been around since the 2000s).Mind hybe claims that they have evidence of her conspiring against them so unless they lied about that (which I somehow doubt since hybe wouldn't have made this public without evidence) she's done for.

I feel like we are ignoring the truly awful part about the ADOR and MHJ situation.. the artistic aspect and all is subjective but the real meat of is how all this is being handled SOOOO poorly. The unnecessary jab at the ILLIT girls, straight up saying ILLIT is “copying“ for having a few similarities???, doing shady illegal business practices, then going as far as trying to snag ADOR away from HYBE even HYBE is the founder and funder of ADOR is…strange to say the least. Idk y yall are surprised they’re trying to kick her out.. all this over subjective artistic choices..extremely weird. Yes I think HYBE should’ve definitely made the the two groups a little more definitive.. but my God it doesn’t warrant all this.. The HYBE gg curse seems to still be in effect. I don't like either side they're both super sketch with mhj using NWJNS and indirectly bunnies as shields whenever a scandal hits and now dragging in ILLIT when she could have easily made "creative differences and concerns" the main talking point without mentioning them and HYBE with their management problome among other accusations.

When was the last time HYBE faced this kind of serious issue? Was it Garam's case? And they couldn't resolve it well. And they might not do well with current HYBE & MHJ drama. It is too early to conclude let's just wait for now. In the end it is bad for both group's reputation anyways.

A lot of the staff that has worked for ILLIT’s debut worked with NewJeans for their debut and Ditto. A lot of the staff that worked for NewJeans debut never worked within the K-Pop industry up until NJs debut, comeback, and ads. That’s why there is similarities. I personally do see the merit in arguing that illit derives their sensibilities directly from newjeans - and how that harms the group. I mean when I first saw them I literally thought to myself “this is like newjeans on steroids” lmfao. While new jeans does also draw from outside influence (like every artistic project) their sensibility set them apart. I mean the public conception when they showed up first was how “fresh and new” they were. So I do believe newjeans can be distinctly copied from rather than illit jumping on a general trend. I personally find the creative direction for both groups really strange (to me), playing on innocence concepts, including young members. So the way illit has kind of ramped that up really made them unappealing…making newjeans unappealing by proxy? Not to discredit the members themselves, but the direction feels almost caricature-ish and yes…oversaturated

I honestly get what Ador is talking about. Since New jeans debuted, other groups have showed similar songs or concepts, but with enough changed so that it seemed like following trends, not copying NewJeans. But ILLIT uses the same music genres, same concept, even the member number ended up being the same... This is the issue of a single company having many groups in a single generation. They are now bound to face comparison, they'll attract similar people and may lose revenue because of that... Etc. The different companies under Hybe need to coordinate these things.

She did not lie about hybe tho 👀 “we believe in profit.” Ofc hybe wanted their own new jeans so they could reap more profit from since they can’t with newjeans or as much as they would like. Min hee jin may be sketchy but it’s clear as day what bang pd was trying to do.
