This is Alabama Song by The Doors. I knew I recognized it. It's the same melody but it sounds different.

You are right. The Doors record this song. But the original is composed for Kurt Weill & Bertolt Brecht. Performed by Marek Weber and His Orchestra. Sound Track for "Shadows and Fog"

Well, I'll try to explain what i undestood, with my poor english, so, sorry if you don't understand what I'll want to say. I think "the tasks' that he wrote is the suicide note. Watching we think "well, is just his job", but after, when he jump, appears the surprise of "oh, is not his job, thats a suicide note!" - and, for me, thats funny, this surprise. The shoes thing, I think, is relationated with the common sense: [continue]
so funny
[continuation] suicide people almost ALWAYS takes his shoes off before try the suicide... when I saw the scene, I remember this fact, and it makes me laught... well, I hope you understood my english, and I hope this infos enlight just a little bit this wonderfull scene!
fantasy )))
Not really sure what the story is here. A guy goes to work in a car. he goes into an office building. He performs some tasks. For some unclear reason he tries to commit suicide. Apparently his shoes are so bouncy that he in shot back upwards onto the roof. He takes off his shoes and jumps to his death. I am guessing that there are pieces of him spattered around the corpse. The end? No offense to this skilled performer, but what's the point?

The point is not look for a reason on everything. Everything shouldn't have an explanation or meaning or logic. Just enjoy your life.
