I like Milwaukee Tools they are really providing quality tools for the trade. I own the ratchets and the half inch impact and they are awesome.

If they made a charger that can hold 2 or 3 that would be sweet for mobile mechanics.

I like how it has a light on both sides. I almost bought that new icon light but I didn’t like that the light was only on one side and it didn’t bend in the direction that I wanted it to

My astro light is almost all i use besides a pocket light for whereever im at, taking quick peaks at something. I by defaut click it twice as its 98% of what i use it for. Not a big deal for me. Mine is a bit loose aswell, but ive dropped mine...hard many times.

Thanks for your amazing video! I have one question, so I bought a new ratchet from snapon truck, and it leaking oil type of liquid from the square drive. I know you know lots of snapon products. Is it normal? Thanks!!

Seems like every light always finds a way to break and the new brand that comes out always seems to promise better until that one breaks🤦‍♂️

Sofar the best magnets I have seen with any light is the braun. All lights “suck” one way or another.

Sounds like Milwaukee went cheap they couldn't be bothered to use aluminum magnets ❗🤣

I hope the USB-C ports hold up longer than the Micro USB ports. Thats the biggest problem I've had with all the different flashlights. It looks like even the HFT lights are going to USB-C.

My gripe with the USB C lights that are only using USB C 2.0 so you can't just use your phones quick charger or USB C to USB C. I have that issue with the Snap On light and the Astro Pneumatic Light.

@@R3YNZ The astro light i have (2 actually) the charging base is wireless charging you just slap it on there, and done. No screwing with a cord hoping it will connect and stay there.

Fair point, although the current price strikes me as equivalent to a tool truck price.

There's 2 versions of this light. They make this one without the fancy charging station for around $100 I believe. I'd splurge for the station just to have an easier way of charging the redlithium USB batteries since Milwaukee doesn't actually making a regular stand alone charger for them.

I don’t understand why these companies don’t use better magnets? Maximizing profits is more important? We pay more but we get less and less.

You can't tighten up the astro light . I pulled mine apart and wrapped 1 later of electrical tape around the bottom of the LED strip to take up the slop. My biggest problem is the articulation is very loose after 1 year

Free tools for affiliate loot. You know snap on makes the best lights , best folding lights and pen folding light. This is a knock off a snap on design, except snap on did it better. The snap on comes with two lights and you can charge your phone on the base also and has USB port to charge another light or phone

I had a snap on light, it was the bulky bending light. The battery needed charging at LEAST twice a day, it didn't fit anywheres, the light wasn't that great, and yeah. Oh and just regular charging. My new Astro lights like he breifly previewed in the video are magnetic charging, the charging base can charge 2 lights, and also a USB connection to charge something else. Oh forget the price too. 160 170 whatever for a snap on light, vs 60 70 per light, and if you WANT to get fancy another 60 70 for the 2 light compatible magnetic charging base. I could nearly buy 3 lights.

I'm a Snap on fan but not so sure about the folding lights. New ECARG068 has 2.5 hr runtime, 1 yr warranty. Streamlight Strion Switchblade comes with 2 rechargeable batteries for less $, 3 hr runtime. Philips also has the 6000 Slim, 4.5 hr runtime.

Shitty industry to work in anyway. Theres a TON more money to make in other fields that have nothing to do with being a flat rate tech. Take it from me, a former flat rate tech.
