I absolutely love my Milwaukee heated gear. Owning both the heated soft shell jacket, and the heated gloves, they are truly GAME CHANGERS. To Brian's point, the jacket is literally a show stopper. Anyone and everyone always stops me if the lights are on. They're amazed by the quality of the jacket and how warm they can get. The heated gloves, being my first pair of heated gear, have changed my outdoor work experiences for the better. As someone who constantly has cold extremities (fingers and toes are always like ice 3 out of 4 seasons each year) and while living in Northeast PA, it get's pretty cold here on a regular basis from Oct - March. I've used these gloves to operate blowers during cleanups and light snow removal, while plowing snow on the atv, etc... While the heat from both of these are fantastic for someone like me, the only con I have out of both products would be that the gloves can get a bit tight on your wrist given the size of the battery, especially if you wear a smartwatch or larger wristwatch. I can get by with this, it's not a dealbreaker for me, but may be to some depending on how long you wear the gloves for. Now if Milwaukee would only make some heated socks! I still suffer from lackluster toe warmers and my feet are always the first thing to get cold. Great video as always Brian! Just wanted to give my $0.02.

@@BriansLawnMaintenance 30+ years ago me and my dad were doing our longest driveway when we went in we hit the bridge with no problem on the way out the drifting snow reduced visibility to about 20 feet we missed the bridge and went sliding into a creek 12 feet from the bridge 18 feet down. Now the creek was to low to fish for the first 20 minutes. The second 20 minutes it ran over the back side of the hinge for the V blade. Walking to the neighboring business took me almost 30 minutes. Pre cellphone sucked in bad weather. But lets be honest there are still many areas that in good weather signal is weak or none.

I got the soft shell jacket and beanie for Christmas, absolutely love them both!! The jacket heats up very quickly and will make you sweat on high after 5 or 10 minutes. The beanie is by far the warmest and most comfortable I've ever worn. Just wish the jacket came with a hood. Awesome review Brian!!

Nice job reviewing all the Milwaukee gear. I'm on the fence with the quilted Axis jacket. I have the 1st gen soft shell jacket and it's ok. I am interested in the heated chest/back & shoulder zones of the Axis jacket. I'm not a contractor or landscaper anymore, but I am a dad with a daughter in marching band, so sitting in the stands watching football games and halftime band shows has me wanting to buy the latest heated gear which has probably been improved upon since my initial investment 4-5 years ago. Thanks again for walking through the category from Milwaukee.

I have had the heated hoodie for about 5 years. Works great. I bought a heated vest this year for Scout but it is not a Milwaukee. It has a heated collar which is a fantastic place to have a heat zone.

Couple quick tech tips… For the people with an Axis jacket (quilted), you will end up with rips and gouges but there’s an easy, cheap, good looking fix. Pick up some adhesive gore-Tex patches. You can cut them into diamond shape to match perfect and it looks like a factory repair. Also, a must have with any of these jackets is a better battery. Search “12v heated jacket Li-Po battery” and pick one up. They are flat and won’t jab you in the kidney like the M12 and they also last 5x longer as well. 100% worth the $69!

Great video! I run a carpet cleaning business actually and I would highly recommend getting some scotchgard or other fabric protector and apply it to the jacket when it is brand new. Apply several coats of product. I bet that red one would still look brand new if you'd done that. Also, clean the jacket and re-apply the scotchgard every time you wash it
