Finally... You showed the reassemble sequence that I could understand. 4 out of 5 other vids couldn't help. Thank you

Thanks so much dude!! I fixed mine, and it works perfectly. I actually pulled it (almost) completely apart first, then found your video and realized that was all a waste of time. Well at least it works and the insides got a good clean.

Thanks for the DIY lesson! A friend said I could have his Milwaukee 2720-20 if I could fix it, with this video I got it done! 👍

TO ANYONE IN THE FUTURE: This man did a great job on this video; I couldn't have figured this out without it. HOWEVER I have no idea how he managed to fit that pin in from the size, on my model this was basically impossible due to the location of the side housing. It worked out really well for me to take the machine apart more, I pulled off the pin for the depth shoe, then the shoe, then the big rubber molded part, then the aluminum side panel of the saw (eight screws, T25 and T27 torx). This not only gave me the clearance to easily install the pin, but inside the saw was DISGUSTING. Old nasty grease everywhere. I took the opportunity to clean this out and add new grease, now the saw runs about 40% smoother. Yes its a pain but if you're going to work on the blade clamp, its not much more work, it makes that job easier and is better for the rest of the saw.

Thanks for the affirmation. This man is either some sort magician or there is a difference between mine and his. Spent a couple hours trying different ways before taking it apart further

Thanks a lot for your vidéo 😁 was able to solve my problem... but mine was only jammed and had the metal protect cover of the spring... well the first part when you reassemble the saw mine t=one end was all crushed in the center... I just put it back like I could but the problem was really the dust... all good now thanks again :)

A Second pair of hands help to keep the tension off of the holes.the holes need to like up perfect a lil oil on the hole may help to . for the most part it's a fight with big fingers . If you don't have a friend there gravity may help if the hole are good and lined up

Absolutely cannot believe that you are intelligent enough to complete this repair but left the fkn battery connected to the tool during the entire process.

I would’ve disconnected the battery as well, just the way I was taught. Disables the machine so that the process you demonstrated can happen safely. Without the chances of you hurting the machine or yourself. Even though chances are that relying on the safety button all should be good.. just adds some peace of mind to me.. nice video though. Thank you
