    Where would you use this fan the most in your shop or garage? On the floor, a table, or somehow mount it to the wall?

    I got this about two weeks ago. I love it. I also tried Rigid and Ryobi and this is hands down way better. Not having to loosen knobs to adjust and having the switch in the front makes all the difference. I also feel like this can take a lot more abuse than others. Having the battery on top instead of in the back increases the suction from the back. The Rigid is rated at 400 more cfm and this pulls more air from the back. Price is $250, but it is worth just for the impact rated and durability over its competitors.

    I could see this as a great thing for camping or tailgating. If a campground doesn't have hookups you need to run a generator at specific times and the rest of the time you are left with no AC. Running that on low with the big battery you would easily stay cool on a warm night.

    Great idea! I was looking at those for testing leaf blowers, but they don't go that high. They would work on fans like this though. I'll add that to my list of things to do.

    I bought one of these last week for my work - i work in an auto shop. Its definitely expensive - $250 normally but since I got it off a tool truck, it was $350. Its expensive but its 100% better than my old pedestal fan or my 2 blower fans that i cant change th3 angle. Plus, the air spred? From the milwaukee fan great too - its really wide so you dont necessarily have to have it directly aimed at you. I do wish they had a cheaper option with just a plug in, not a battery, and maybe a mister addon would be nice. Use a m12 or something for it 😂

    Dude STAY out of the tool trucks, they are going to make you poor. Perfect example you paid an extra $100 just to have the fan a little sooner, instead of saving a little each week until you got it. Those guys are just like a rolling credit card company, stay away, I promise you'll be better off.

    Is this fan like a bigger version of the small one because the small one is a beast. I'm very curious because you can only take ones opinion on air. My definition of a good amount of air might be different than yours. I can't feel the air through the video

  • @MarkThomasBuilder

    @MarkThomasBuilder

    2 ай бұрын

    The original M18 fan definitely moves air so you feel it. This one is a nice upgrade from that. Hopefully the streamers blowing in the timelapse and the sawdust test help to show you the power of the wind. I'm not sure what else I could do, but I'm open to suggestions.

    @@MarkThomasBuilder thanks. I've had bad experiences though. I had the small Milwaukee before and someone had a vs video between the both and he told me the Dewalt blew more amd I ordered it and was displeased. The specs had more cfm but the force of the air is more out of the Milwaukee. I was just wondering if this new one was a larger of the small one cause the small one is a beast

  • @MarkThomasBuilder

    @MarkThomasBuilder

    The design on the new 18" fan is slightly different fan design than the other Milwaukee ones, but it does move the air very nice. I can't seen any issues that you would have with this. The hybrid design is better too, because you don't need to rely on storing an AC adapter. It just uses an extension cord.

  • @weldonpinder7295

    @weldonpinder7295

    2 ай бұрын

    @MarkThomasBuilder what I should've asked from the start is does the air move more directly at you or broadens out from the sides. That's where the cfm deception kicks in because if a fan has a higher cfm than another I'll be like ill get that one but I'm not concerned about cfm
