Yeah, Milwaukee ought to supply free replacement chucks--same issue

Ill let you know if my new chuck is good.

My Milwaukee has exactly the same problem. Returned it and the new one is no good as well.

Then you got either a bad part, or you didn't turn it back to lock the bit.

@@andrewvalenzuela4383 Turning it back makes no difference, the drill makes a hammering when releasing the trigger causing it to loosen up.

Yes and no. The new chuck holds the bits in a lot better compared to the old chuck but it still dropped a couple drill bits.

@@timsworkshop85 are you locking the chuck or just tightening it up on the bit. I have to ask because many many people I know have never heard of locking these keyless chucks !!!

I have the same issue with mine. Trying to decide whether to buy a new Milwaukee drill or go with a different brand as it seems to be a common issue with Milwaukee drills.

@@tommawson5926 I’m sure I have tools older than you as all my Porter Cable were American made still going from the 80’s. The Milwaukee chordless chucks are junk didn’t even last one job, a well known problem. Makita at least has Japanese oversight which still means something as their whole construction world is essentially concrete based.
