    The only ones that cry about torque values are the ones that never pulled a wrench ,I work with heavy equipment and that Milwaukee impact is incredible for what it can do . And for taking off wheel nuts on semi trucks on the road when you don't have air tools this thing is amazing .They are a bit pricey but worth it .

    Bendon’s gettin’ a little bent outta shape! I love it! Gotta remember, most of these armchair mechanics couldn’t trouble shoot a light that’s not working! If it’s not something obvious like a bulb, fuse or broken wire, they’re lost. Give them a problem with voltage drop, or a bad ground and they just give up.

    My 2 biggest complaint with battery powered tools such as nut runners (cordless ratchet) and impact guns is Batteries always seem to die at the most inconvenient time, as well as they are a consumable item i.e. They need to be replaced after x amount of time/recharge cycles and that the motors in these tools wear rather quickly and loose strength. Don’t get wrong when I ran service calls I liked there convenience but in a shop setting I much preferred my air tools which range in age between 5 to 50 years old. That said if you like them use them but just be aware that they are far more expensive than air tools

    Setting 2 with a torque limiting extension comes in under the rating. Setting 3 pushes past it. I use number 2 with the stick followed by a torque wrench. (though the biggest things I see are only 3500 duallys)

  • @cannednolan8194
    @cannednolan81944 ай бұрын

    That’s a lot higher then I thought it was on the first setting. I had a jaguar complain that I over torqued his lug nuts. The shop had trouble getting them off. I used the first and second setting. When the complaint came in. I said I could of the gun does have a lot of torque. But if it’s a one of two Jaguars in the province I have to question why he took it to Costco. When it had a full size matching rim for the spare. All he has to do was fix the flat tire and put it back in the trunk. Now I used torque sticks. 65 pounds first tighten then drop the vehicle and do the final. My sticks go up to 150 pounds. I also purchased the cover for mine cause it’s in my bag or outdoors with me.

    I wish my m12 Milwaukee insider was as good as my M18 1/2” 2767 impact. No bolts or nuts can resist the impact. The insider had to go in for warranty after 30 days of use. They said the spine service assembly, and the yolk service assembly were worn. I paid less for the impact and it eats.
