Interested too I found. If you remove the middle ratchet holder you can place the Milwaukee cordless ratchet perfectly in that middle spot.

The square base of the sockets is great for tight spots. Slip a wrench on after it is in place!

Also if you want to get this right now buy everything individually (sockets, case, inserts) and it’s about $40 cheaper for the same thing

Thanks for reviewing this. I've recently adopted the packout system and while I'm not a mechanic, I have at least 3 incomplete crappy socket sets which I think could easily be replaced by this set. Just sucks buying new tools when you actually have an old tool that does the job...hmm

Does the "Packout" prevent them from moving around and getting out of place if you close the lid and carry them like a suit case?

Yes, they stay in place with lid closed.

On the back of the cardboard packaging that comes with the Milwaukee Packout tool set, it says the ratchets are “Made in Taiwan” and the sockets are “Made in China”.

They do have the 1/2" by itself. As far as I know this kit only comes in 1/4 & 3/8, or you can get the 1/4 & 3/8 individually.

@chriswalker143 I don't think so, unless they came out and I don't know about it. Besides, most of your most common bolts are six point sockets. I have 12 point sockets and wrenches they're specialty tools that rarely get used. Don't use a 12 point on an a six point bolt, because you'll round off the six point head.

It is a lot of money, but look at what you get for your money. The packout case is about $79, and the ability to use an open end wrench. I wouldn't pay full price, get it when the price drops. I totally would buy it if i was you.
