"Million Euro" ;) Almond and Pistachio Nougat Candy
This nougat is delicious! If you can find the rice paper this makes it so much easier to eat. The flavour is like a super thick marshmallow.

In Spain we call this turron. If you roast the nuts yourself and mix them right after, they are nice and warm so it is way easier to mix! Great video xx
I love those 50 dollar rice paper. Is like putting a spin on a traditional nougat.
Nougat is a traditional treat here in Malta, and very popular during or festas. We use cinnamon in some of ours too. The pistachio ones are tinted green. There is also chocolate, banana, strawberry etc. Some even have candied cherries in them. Too sweet in my opinion. LOL Some use the rice paper, and some call for potato starch water. It almost looks like marzipan on top. It's actually good, but more work. lol
reminds me of karo divinity. if you'd mixed it a bit longer, it wouldn't have collapsed as much, imo. with karo divinity, there is a fine line when to add the nuts, for sure. either way, it's yummy. i'd love to try making basic divinity with the pistachios and almonds. divinity is my very favorite homemade candy. love this idea, except that i wouldn't make them into small pieces. lol
Here in Chile we call it "turrón " and instead of pistachio we use peanuts, my favorite sweet In the world. Thanks for the recipe
Oh Tammy. Why do all of your yummies look so good. I wish I could be your neighbour so I could always drop by whenever you create these masterpieces. (; been a fan of yours for years. Sending lots of love from Singapore. Merry Christmas to you and your family. <3
I have had nougat and it is so good! I didn't know you had to put rice paper around it. New one for me. You did a great job with this and I know you really have to move when you make it!
The nougat not supposed to do that. Seems like you didn’t whipped the merge enough.
YUM 😍 Love the addition of the euros!
Tammy- in the US we have Brach's candy company. They make a candy called jelly nougats that is a white soft/chewy base with what looks like cut up fruit flavored gumdrops in it. Do you have a recipe for those or can you develop a recipe perhaps?
I cannot find rice/wafer paper for love nor money. What should I use instead?
Ooh I want to try it ... I like that stuff.
That looks great! I definitely want to try this. The Euro banknotes were a fun addition, haha!
Try adding rose water
I’m looking forward to trying to make this next week. Thanks for all your tips and tricks!
Try dusting your individual candy pieces in arrowroot powder.
This looks delicious
Yay! Nougat is my favourite. Thanks for doing this for us.
You have no idea how long I have looked for this recipe THANK YOU for finally getting it for me today because I love this dipped in white chocolate and oh boy I can not wait to make this. I am going to put caramel and chocolate over it so HUGE THANK YOU once more.
Ohhhh yummmmy!
