Usually I'm not very excited about just looking at cars but this video is excellent! Thanks Paul.

Thank you Hal. You know the inside scoop... If you're seeing this video, that means I've got nothing in the hopper!!
So a Rolls Royce in 1939 cost $5,000.00. I knew a guy who bought Fatty Arbuckles Mother-In Laws house in Los Angeles in 1939. He paid $2,500.00 for the house. So 5K was a lot of money.
ln all of my 80 some years i have never seen anything like these AMAZING BEAUTIFUL CAR'S.......Thanks so very very much Paul you are a gem Old Shoe🇺🇸

Paul, I came across a 2 year old video you had posted regarding your health and was hurt to find out you had some problems. I've watched so many of your videos for so long I feel we're close friends so I just had to post my surprise. Each and every day I prayer to our all powerful and caring lord. There will not be a day where I do not say a special prayer for your health and well being. I know so many of us are enlightened by your videos and you yourself. God bless and stay safe and healthy.

Thank you Bob. Truth is, I have several health issues I was born with and struggle many days. However, we have a perfect and holy Savior in Jesus Christ. It is with His strength that I press forward and don't dwell on that which ails me. God bless.
Excellent video on real automobiles!!! You've just helped me confirm that after 55 years of Model As ...... Well, . Indecently , one of my clients owns a 29 Packard dual cowl phaeton beautifully restored that was originally a champagne almost pink colored super fine metallic. His Classic car society bros. all seem to believe this may have been one of the first cars with metallic paint. Once again, great content!
10:22 The Cord. I grew up all my life with a 1937 cord, my father got it when he was in the service as a Naval Aviator. His was a Convertible Super Charged 812 Phaeton version, they came with Lycoming engines, I have some old Newspaper articles of him with it and a few home photos.

Paul: You out did yourself with this video! As a kid that grew up around antique airplanes and automobiles, this brings me back. Absolutely MAGNIFICENT! The "Barn" is an incredible place for these rolling pieces of art. Thank you! I've been through dozens of Aviation and Automobile museums around the country, this has got to be one of the most spectacular museums anywhere. So many automobiles, so little time! I think of the Teenager that bought that Stutz; Not your normal kid!

The red Lincoln Continental upstairs is of 1946-1948 vintage. The '48 Continental is the last automobile considered a full classic by the CCCA.

An awesome look at the Gilmore Auto Museum and what a great tour of this wonderful institution. I get what your saying about the cars pristine condition, when you store them inside and pamper them, they still look good! Oh, so that's why I look old and tattered, too much working, too much sun and not enough pampering, ha ha! Fabulous video, thanks Paul, I hope your weekend is going great and it continues, for you and Model T.
Thanks for this great tour. Also, thanks for all you do with your well-produced Model A videos. Its apparent that Model As bring you and Tina genuine enjoyment.

Thanks Pat! I have autism, and am somehow programmed to obsess over certain things. Model As are one of them.
Although I was at the Gilmore in September for Model A Days and visited the CCCA museum, this docent-led video brought out some great details that I had overlooked. Great job, Paul and Ken!

My property taxes went up from just being in close proximity to those cars!! What an era! The rolling pieces of artwork! My eyes had a hard time taking it all in. It was great to see it in person. And good to hear about it from another source. Thanks.

Какая же красота! У меня нет слов. Великий русский писатель Достоевский однажды сказал: "Красота спасёт мир". What a beauty! I have no words. The great Russian writer Dostoevsky once said: "Beauty will save the world."
WOW! This looks like THE car museums to end all others. Where does it stop?? I was wondering how big that place was. Pretty cool. Thanks for the tour. I bet you could have spent DAYS there just taking your time looking all around. I am sure you were tempted to take a couple of them home as well :) Some of those would be nice to add to your collection. Nice guy taking you around as well. Fun time! Thanks for showing me around my friend. I am sure you hated to leave! Have a great weekend and a blessed Sunday. God bless!

What kind of any good car Museum tour doesn’t show an Oakland! Joking aside fantastic tour, I believe traffic lights were around in 1926 how common they were I don’t know, there were accessories made that went on the dash to reflect the traffic light but I don’t know when they came out.
Good morning from Ione.

Wow
I did have a thought on the Tightness of an original car v.s. one that has been "Restored" I have wondered if a restored car that had been put together in the same order as the factory built it, would that then have the same feel as an original? Sure, blow a water pump, & put a good one on, no big deal, but the whole car, that has a process, a factory process... what are your thoughts? Maybe?

I think when you Restore a car, you you take the sole away, and all the history. Dont get me Wrong, i like restored cars, and some times they need to be restored to save them

Obviously, those are beautiful cars but the air is way too thin up there for me and my taste. I absolutely love the fact that when you take your car to a show somewhere or you tell the kids climb all over it, it was designed to be enjoyed. I can appreciate the need to preserve history, but this is just not my cup of tea.

I'm just a broke redneck. But it's sure neat to see how the upper half lives sometimes. Don't worry about breaking the 10th commandment, just take it in and appreciate those who built them like I do.
