Milling a Small Pine Log with a Timbery M285

Just got my mill a few weeks back (20 months after I placed the order) and have only done a couple logs with it. Decided to record this one, process will get smoother, but overall I am very happy with the mill and the way it performs.

I’m looking at a m285. How are you liking yours ? The one I’m looking at (on FB) I believe is a 16 hp. They are at $7500 firm. 17.2 length. Does that seem reasonable? Anything you can tell me about the ups and downs of the mill would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Terry. Central NY

Sorry for the delay. I think that price sounds reasonable for that one. I have the larger engine and it helps a lot with hardwoods. Not sure how the smaller engine would do. Downs are everything being manual, but for hobby milling it is great. Ups, it is simple and well built.
