Millennium Force Review - The World's First Giga Coaster

Millennium force opened in the year 2000 and has turned into one of the most well known and legendary rides ever. When it opened it was the very first (full circuit) roller coaster to top 300ft in height. While bigger rides have opened since, Millennium still remains one of the best and most popular rides at Cedar Point.

    All 3 trains have nicknames. Blue-Party, Red-Strawberry, Yellow-Bananna

Not as good as Fury 325 but better than Leviathan and Orion. Love the drop in the back car (rows 17 and 18) of those long trains, and the two camelbacks grants sustained floater and station fly by hill provides shorter but stronger airtime. I liked it better than any ride in the park except SteVe and that includes TTD. I haven't ridden TT2 yet.

I haven’t ridden the other B&M gigas yet (because I only became an enthusiast about a year ago) but I should be riding Orion in only a few weeks. I completely agree with you about the drop and camelbacks (I rode in row 14 and loved how sustained the airtime was on all 3). It is currently my 3rd favorite in the park behind SteVe and Maverick (but I haven’t ridden Maverick in almost 2 years). I have yet to ride TTD or TT2 because both of them were closed the entire day when I have went (My visits have been in 2022, 2023, and most recently May 17, 2024, so I have gotten really unlucky) but I should head back to CP this year, hopefully when TT2 is back open.

Awesome drop but the king of all gigas is I305

I have yet to ride I305 (Because I am a new enthusiast) but I love intense rides, so I305 looks sick

shit ride you just go down hills and turn that’s it. once you ride I305 you can never go back. plus this is cedar point so ride operations are a headache to deal with and whenever you wait longer than a half hour you’re risking the ride breaking down and wasting all your time

While I agree with some points, the reason this ride has such a long line is because the masses enjoy it. And the same simply isn’t true about I305. Hate on Mille all you want, but at the end of the day, roller coasters are meant to be fun, and Mille is a pure fun ride.

@@BadCarDesigner not starting an argument here just wanna make more people aware of this. the reason the lines are so bad is because the season passes at cedar point are dirt cheap and there are always way too many people there. it’s my home park lol. before the 2020 season the park was so much better the crowds were way more regulated. but now the main goal of the park is to get as many people in as possible and upcharge food prices, like they literally closed a coaster and replaced it with a restaurant. corn dogs there alone cost $16 it’s become a real problem

@@endgameisbad2733I completely agree, CP is almost impossible to go to without first spending $150+ on a Fast Lane Plus. Without it, you get 5-6 rides total a day (if you play your cards right). It is also my home park and the prices are wayyyy too high for what you get.
