We were so neglected by the Boomers that society tried to over correct for that, by doing things like handing out participation trophies out to millennials. Gen X didn't have a single advantage millennials didn't have. Most of us weren't even taught about computers well, because schools hadn't been able to afford them yet.

Let me put it another way, inside the boomer generation for example there isn't many demographics in it, very few differences across the different groups in it. Millennials are too diverse to get any kind of demographic out and gen z is even more diverse, meaning defining generations at this point is kind of moot.
