Millennial Farmer Runs Diverse Cattle Operation In Emanuel County, Georgia
For years, the ag industry has been concerned over the rising average age of America’s farmers. On one Emanuel County farm, that trend has been stopped. Addison Hooks, a so-called millennial, is running his family cattle operation, as the Monitor’s Kenny Burgamy explains.

Super cool. Know your dad is proud to have you with him!
Give em hell. My roommate is in drone scouting of cattle and came across this in research. He sent me this thinking that I may know you. Good to see you're back serving the homeland Addison.

Jason Moore not true, especially in years to come. They obviously stated that the age of farmers is over 50-60. That means many will be nearing retirement and looking to step aside. More land will be changing hands in the next decade than probably ever before in history. With dog shit crop prices and shit beef value, the opportunity is very high for someone desiring to get their foot in the door and grow an operation.
Cant agree more with some of the other comments! If your small time which is usually the case its next to impossible these days!
Real easy to do when it’s handed to you
2,000 head, eh? Wow, that'd be 8,000 feet!!
