A Self-Made Man Taught Me about the Cattle Business

Ойын-сауық

Emmanuel Bankston learned about raising cattle from a man with a 2nd or 3rd-grade education, his grandfather. Not only did his grandfather teach him about cattle, but he also taught him how to be a man. We hope you join us again for this week’s Growing America Story.

In the cattle buisness we don’t do this for the money, we do it out of pride and integrity drives us forward, just like that gentleman, his family was the reason he moved forward

Thank you for sharing. An amazing story and a great tribute to your granddad. I can see the love and respect you have and he passed to you the love of farming, family, and great work ethics. I was also lucky to have a dad who was my mentor and hero. God bless

God bless this young man. How fortunate he was to have that grandpa who cared so much about him and taught him so much. I only had one grandpa, and he left my world when I was maybe four or five years old. So I was not as fortunate as Mr. Bankston. But I will tell all of you ... Do not leave this world without taking Jesus with you. And time is running out.

Excellent. Prime example how a positive male role model demonstrating real manhood can shape a boy into a productive man.....I'd like to meet this gentleman. A child must be taught a work ethic.
