When I went to school I was bullied a lot. I had a shitty childhood and it only got better as I got older. That song helped me so much ... I screamed it when I was alone in my room. Now at 36, a few years ago I was lucky enough to see Millencolin live and tears flowed when I heard "no cigar". This song was on every CD I heard in my car. In the meantime I have had "i don't care where i belong no more" tattooed on my arm and what i want to say is just thank you for this song and for this text, which has helped me so much through dark times.

Tell us where you're from What you want to become And we'll say if you're OK Where did you go to school? Right answer and you're cool Yeah, you're the kid the whole day You get a sticker in your face Information 'bout the case So you know your potential Don't think you can extend Don't think you can extend, just comprehend But I don't wanna hear it No, it's more than I accept 'Cause I don't care where I belong no more What we share or not I will ignore I will ignore We will shut you out We'll put you in doubt If you think that you're special We'll tell you who you are We'll tell you that you're close but no cigar But I don't wanna hear it No, it's more than I accept 'Cause I don't care where I belong no more What we share or not I will ignore And I won't waste my time fitting in 'Cause I don't think contrast is a sin What they say is Go back where you came from They'll tell you that, I don't want to hear No, I don't want to hear No, I don't want to hear it No, it's more than I accept 'Cause I don't care where I belong no more What we share or not I will ignore And I won't waste my time fitting in 'Cause I don't think contrast is a sin No, it's not a sin

So right! I used to be a tribal elitist when I was a teen. There were some pop classics I liked like Michael Jackson but most stuff I turned my nose up at. Nowadays I can hear how great some contemporary pop is even if I don't like the particular compositions of them on the radio.
I had no idea this version would be as amazing as it is
i hate to admit it.... but if it wasnt for tony hawks pro skater i would never have heard this song... i am SO grateful for who ever is responsible for adding it to the track list
Took 37 years on earth to finally embrace the meaning of this song. Still ripping manuals though 😅. Be safe fellow nostalga seekers❤
heartbreaking version. Millencolin is such an underrated band. 💚💚💚

I am officially labeling this as the anit-facebook anthem. "I dont care where I belong no more, what we share or not I will ignore. And I wont waste my time fitting in, cause I dont think contrast is a sin." Yeah, spread it like peanut butter.

Funny great version! I just listened to a recording on my phone of me snoring to the 4 hour session Of "Mark Fuckerberg" on CSPAN answering non tech lawyer questions by uneducated congress people. Reviewing TH2 as an amazing soundtrack to my youth and lyrics that speak truth. I've hated facepuke i.e.. social media since its inception claiming that it damages critical thinking and limits the users interface and possibilites of actions as well as protections. Now I am here to warn you and your kids that we need to spread the cure to the social disease corrupting the youth. For example, more peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with agricultural integration. My face to a big bid to myspace youtube pardon my french is bad "twitchshitter?"" Hows that dopamine in your brain ?

I think that as we have gotten older we've appreciated a little different dimension to the music we loved when we were younger. I this case, the true beauty of the lyrics of this song. When I was young it gave me fire and now that I look back, I appreciate the peace it gave me. Just digging deeper into the things we love.....
