Hi Gezen, I was wondering why you don't use any teat dip following milking to seal up the sphincter muscle, so doing to keep them from getting any mastitis causing organisms up into the teat and then into the udder? I realize that Saanens are very hardy dairy goats, but, even they can and do get mastitis sometimes. Please do try and speak with your veterinarian about this and you will be glad with the results. Worst example of "good hygiene" I've seen firsthand in a long time. One wipe in dirty back pocket, no gloves, no hand wash, no protective equipment, no hand sanitizer, just contaminated milk.
