Military Homecoming Surprise
My brother has been deployed for 9 months. During that time, we lost my father, who had been married to my mom for almost 29 years. Since my brother deployed, our father had always talked about surprising our mother with my brother. By doing this, we are honoring what we consider his “final wish.” We also lost my mom’s mom, our grandmother. On top of that, my mom lost her brother, our uncle. Needless to say, this is a surprise my mom needed and I am so glad we were able to make it happen.

Definitely a lovely reunion, especially after reading the description. General prayers for the whole family at this time. Just curious: when did the Army okay the rolled sleeves? Very accustomed to seeing that with the Marines and the Navy.
