Hi, my name is Sofi Llambias and I'm a drone operator for the U.S. Army.
I joined the Army because I was really interested in unmanned aviation, and there are not that many jobs where you can do that to the level that we do in the Army.
I think what I love most about my job is that it's always challenging. You have to be able to react at a moment's notice to any changes in the aircraft and be able to potentially land it right away.
This is the Shadow, and one of the coolest things we can do with the Shadow is based on the camera down here. This camera allows us to get a lot of information from up in the air that is super helpful to the troops on ground.

@@goarmyseattle How much do 15W's sit in a box? Is a typical day like 8hrs or like 12hrs? I heard sometimes they do fly a lot but on somedays they do not fly as much. What is the real story? I am very interested in becoming a 15W. If not then I will apply to become a 15T and fly with the helicopters.
