If you have a craft that could leave the atmosphere and your adversary doesn't you would definitely go to a altitude that the other craft can't get to when you needed to reevaluate the situation

@@W1HURI some of it, not all of it. Humans didn't have this technology prior to WW2 , we didn't have good computers , the ones we did have would need to fill warehouses to just equal one modern day smartphone.

People are taking a while to catch on but you need to realize how integrated this is in everything. Much earlier than 1933 but thats really when everything started to happen. Something to think about

They have very Enterprisey looking attack ships throwing telephone poles.

WOW! the couple first encounters sound exactly like the one I had in 2016. A light in the sky which I thought was a star came down like 10 ft over the lake I was at. I swear to god it looked like it was showing off for me and my friends and was amazing how it was moving. It was flying around effortlessly; it flew like a fish swimming in water. But the craziest part was this fluorescent green/turquoise trail that was following it. When it turned, I could see the trail behind it bending from the turn it took.

There is an interesting design of aircraft, but they rarely talk about it, because this thing is secret. The topic of pulsed plasma thrusters has been developed since the early 60s (see PPT - Pulsed plasma thruster) - they are usually designed for spacecraft. Horizontal acceleration is created by the same plasma panels on the sides of the device (they glow, from the side they look like "portholes"). Such devices like "triangle" or "disk" have been observed for a long time, they are mistaken for alien ones - but these are terrestrial devices. They are classified and used for espionage and secret actions. Pulsed electromagnetic technology generates microwave radiation, therefore it is harmful to health. They rarely fly - only military missions. Therefore, they are not suitable for a citizen. This maintained the secrecy. Now they are already declassifying - many people know about this secret technique. When declassified, they will be used for cargo airships. What's one fifth of 100? If I travelled at Light Speed I can do 100LY in 100 years. If I travel at a 20th of that, it works out at 20 years. It's not rocket surgery.

It may not be "rocket surgery"(that one still gets me) but your math seems a little off. Can you explain to me how you can travel a 100 LY at the speed of light in a 100 years, but if you slow down to 5% the speed of light it will only take 20. You're sure you didn't get turned around along the way there?

Our hyper sonics missiles are an improvement, but we need to find a way to shield our weapons and computers from being shutdown or disrupted by the aliens, that should be Top priority in conjunction with more and deadlier unmanned fighters and missiles.
