Lyric:
Found one…! Countdown till I make you say sorry
Let’s go! A victory march! Dan-Da-Dan
Eat this! Don’t act like you have no idea! We won’t forgive you
You’re the crazy one! Ban-Ba-Bang
I’m sick of this!
If you sin, You need to do more than be atoned. It’s karma dude!
I give up. Need to make it clean since it’s so dirty
What I want to hear is the scream deep inside you
You apologize if you do something wrong, you learn that even before words, don’t you?
All evil hypocrites should disappear
I won’t stop until you say “sorry”
Now let’s begin to hunt down the liars
Found one…! Countdown till I make you say sorry
Let’s go! A victory march! Dan-Da-Dan
Eat this! Don’t act like you have no idea! We won’t forgive you
You’re the crazy one! Ban-Ba-Bang
You already noticed right? What you gonna do?
Bring it on! Those who believe in justice assemble!
You gotta be kidding! I’m the real hero
Right before the bad news, Those who believe in justice assemble!
It’s going great, We’re gonna punish you until you cry
If you get off now, your a traitor
Now let’s be reasonable. We are the ones that blow the horn for justice
We will punish you down, this is a warning
Bye bye idiots and devils with a faces of angels
We will expose you all by whipping you with words until you are bruised
You won’t stop regretting
Now let’s begin to hunt down the liars
Found one…! Countdown till I make you say sorry
Let’s go! A victory march! Dan-Da-Dan
Eat this! Don’t act like you have no idea! We won’t forgive you
You’re the crazy one! Ban-Ba-Bang
You already noticed right? What you gonna do?
Bring it on! Those who believe in justice assemble!
You gotta be kidding! I’m the real hero
Right before the bad news, Those who believe in justice assemble!
F%#k it!
You won’t be forgiven, it was stupid licking each other’s wounds
Justice assemble! Till the end
You already knew, the whole time
You can’t escape, how do you like the taste of punishment
You already noticed right? What you gonna do?
Bring it on! Those who believe in justice assemble!
You gotta be kidding, I’m an undead hero
F#%k it! Don’t you think so?
You won’t be forgiven, a coward, never!
Let’s keep on winning till the end
Assemble! Assemble!
Found one…! Countdown till I make you say sorry
Let’s go! A victory march! Dan-Da-Dan
Eat this! Don’t act like you have no idea! We won’t forgive you
You’re the crazy one! Ban-Ba-Bang

I like that the first two "enemies" look really cartoonish when Fuuta defeats them, just laying there with x's for eyes and butterflies circling their heads, but on the third one there's actual blood to indicate Fuuta went way too far and that this situation is more serious than anything he dealt with before it's a really good way to show he didn't realize just how bad the things he did were until it was too late (and he's kind of still in denial about it)

Another thing that I noticed regarding the "ennemies" : The first one is the first ever where Fuuta started to act on the internet as a "defender of justice" if I may say it like this. He isn't getting too much involved in this case, only posting one message and observing the whole shmuck going on. (you must look for "@Pazuzu_soccer_0419" in the tweets, this is Fuuta.) - as a result, during the fight, he doesn't lose a ton of mana, and almost 0 HP + he's keeping his distance from the boss, not being in the frontline. The HP & Mana representing pretty much how serious he is about it and/or his involvement in each scenario. I guess it was because of the thrill of this one time doing "justice" online that he decided to continue and hunt for bad guys on his own. On the second one, he's the first to call out the person, and publicly denouncing what is happening (when he is spamming 悪いヤツ、発見 = "Bad guy found"), as a result he's completely involved in this case and it results in him being mid life at the end of the battle. Also, he's now in the front line. For the last one, we don't see anything related to the messages, but we can assume one thing : He's been the first to tell something about it, and was extremely harsh on what he told, resulting in everyone following his "lead" (which is, I guess, further confirmed by Backdraft) - Although he's in the front line in this case, he isn't getting that "involved" with the whole damage minus the initial burst of damage he inflicted. The overall result is obviously that he didn't expect the person to commit S. it went out of his control the moment he posted something about it. He may or may not have realised that too late, I can't say for sure. There are so much stuff going on in the video, it's hard to keep track of everything, I had to rewatch the video at least 20 times to notice some details.

I JUST NOTICED SOMETHING ABOUT FUTA'S MV This was mentioned in one of the comments on backdraft so I wanted to confirm if there was something strange going on with his battles that correlates to how much he did to his victim in backdraft and yeah, there is! In the other two battles you can see futa's mana consistently go down and the icons on the bottom left switching and stuff, indicating that he's actively participating and attacking the victim. however in the last battle you see futa's mana go all in one turn, but not that much health was taken from the victim this time. you can also see that none of the icons are being pressed or lit up. yet the health bar of the enemy is going down. so aside from that initial attack he really didn't participate in this battle. it was the people with him. he's just up and center in the mv because he's the great hero in his head and this is his mv, not anyone else's. this also implies that the people following him in the end disappeared, not because they didn't do anything and it was all futa, but because they probably abandoned him after being scared of getting in trouble. and yknow, pinned all the blame on him and started targeting him too. which makes sense because this is exactly what backdraft was saying. it just seemed a little sus because it looked like futa was doing so much in bring it on. but the health bar, mana bar and icons show he's not doing much of anything aside from the initial blow. he STARTED the campaign that led the girl to suicide. like, him and everyone else who harrased her is responsible for it. he probably called her out online initially and things go from there. futa himself didn't go much further though. which of course means he holds responsibility for this. just not all of it. but I mean that's how I saw it anyways. It makes sense imo and ties in with backdraft too. I might have completely misunderstood though. Feel free to correct me on anything if I'm wrong. God this got really long.

  • @dreamumus

good catch! lines up with how little spraypaint fuuta ended up using on killcheroy in backdraft. to tack on an extra detail, you can that see he lands that initial blow for show, but the way he goes about it indicates he hasn't any idea what's going on behind him. all of the BIG damage is literally happening behind his back, and he only realizes the true, horrific extent of it when he gets up and turns around when it's already over. i wouldn't be surprised if he hit post and thought nothing of it - just that he showed some kid what's what, and that was that. some comments are also making a decent point about one of his friends potentially using his account/name to exacerbate the harassment or post the final straw, too (i.e. literally watching himself graffiti on killcheroy's wall + the active skill indicator being COMPLETELY absent unlike when he was in front of her house as seen here + his signature fire skill effects being used by someone else during her boss ) OFC fuuta's still technically at the very root of it because he picked on her initially and took the photo (also seen in undercover) that made things go pear-shaped. we're just getting better at understanding his position and how he feels about it - hopefully putting more empathy and thought into our verdicts than he did himself. trial 3's probably got some hidden context in store for us, (plus the potential of all the prisoner's cases being loosely related) so i'm excited for what's ahead! ^^

Throwing in another small detail, I've been thinking that the "Hits!" is just the total number of tweets being sent out. The number of hits never goes down, even between bosses. The Hits increase pretty slowly in the first boss, but they speed up in the second, and are quickly increasing by the third boss as more and more tweets are getting sent.

In the Milgram app, Futa answered 15 interrogation questions: 1. What is a friend? "Folks you can get hyped over the same thing with" 2. What are you most scared of? "Not like I'm scared" 3. What are your parents like? "Don't remember much about my mother since the divorce. My father's a weak, pathetic fogey" 4. Is there something you hate? "Shallow-minded idiots" 5. What kind of (girl)'s your type? "Someone who can keep up with my talk level. Cuz girl talk's mostly boring" 6. What would you do if you got lots of money? "It depends on how much, but you better be more clear on the conditions" 7. Favorite spot? "Like a game arcade? Nah, but these days more idiots are there. They're screwed. Real screwed" 8. Family? "Father and older sister" 9. Do you have apologetic feelings for who you killed? "I didn't kill her. Didn't you hear me? I thought you were a guard" 10. Which prisoner do you get along with the most? "I'm not anyone's happy friend. Well Haruka's younger so I take care of him" 11. Is it unforgivable to look down on people? "The world's full of trashy folks. Full of guys that deserve to be looked down on" 12. Can you forgive the other prisoners' murders? "Those who resort to violence are scum. They do it because they're stupid" 13. Is there something you admire? "Admiring is losing" 14. Hobbies? "Internet and gaming and soccer" 15. What do you want to be when you grow up? "In current society, no matter what you do it's rubbish. I'll just go with the flow"

I don't think Fuuta is a bad person, but he's heavily misguided by his ego. He has an amazing trait of wanting justice and being proactive on it, he just needs to put it on good use. Fuuta has a heavy hero complex that was fueled by other people online spurring him on, which made him take things waaay too far, to the point of making someone commit suicide. But with the MILGRAM program, he can have a taste of his own medicine and learn from his mistakes. Out of the three murderers we've been shown, he's the one with the greatest capability of redeeming himself and becoming an outstanding person, however I think that people need to vote him guilty in the first trial so he truly learns about what he did, since his previous dialogues on other videos seemed to appear like he doesn't think he's guilty. I really want him to be voted innocent overall though. Of course, this is an opinion that can change since this is only one song, and it would be foolish to make a final decision without all the details.

(Mentions of cyberbullying and suicide) One Interpretation: Futa had little to no real-life friends and mainly used the internet to socialise. When he and other netizens criticised a cyberbully, he enjoyed the feeling of justice being served, the attention he received and the sense of comradery which arose from it. As a result, he sought out another person to attack. Futa spotted a professor at his university with a woman, who appeared to be in a state of discomfort. He took a picture of them and uploaded it, claiming that the professor was committing s-xual harassment. With Futa leading the group, the professor was flamed a lot more harshly. His final victim was likely a wealthy guy, who did little to no wrong in actuality, but Futa flamed him nonetheless. This time, it was solely Futa’s doing. His few supporters don’t join in but view it as entertainment. Futa’s words and the doxing pushed the guy over the edge, and he eventually took his own life; this caused Futa’s remaining followers to abandon him. In the end, the netizens realised that Futa had become a cyberbully himself, and, consequently, they criticised and doxed him back. [Edit:The first guy was likely pulling a social media stunt and was an Internet troll. His final victim was a middle school girl] The fire motif is a likely reference to flaming, referred to as 「炎上」in Japanese. The first kanji is composed of two fire radicals. The monochrome colour scheme present at some points in the MV displays his binary thinking. In Japan, 「白黒」[white and black] represents good and evil respectively. His mindset takes this further and categorises people as either allies or enemies. 0:00 The MV opens with Futa staring at his phone. The conversation topics are ordinary. Someone complains about having to do an assignment. Another asks if there’s a fun game to play. The final comment states that nothing interesting had been happening and that things were getting boring. These are likely his internet friends. 0:37 The sides of the arcade game turn from white to grey to black; this foreshadows how his morals worsen as the MV unfolds. 0:47 He stares at the group of three guys. He’s likely envious of the bond they share. In the segments where we see Futa in the real world, he’s always alone. When he looks down at his phone, he pulls back his mask to reveal a smile. The user ice_gorilla_ice appears to be cyberbullying someone. 1:08 ice_gorilla_ice is represented by the ice monster they fight. In this first fight, Futa plays a minor role. He fights alongside the public against the cyberbully and uses a small dagger, which implies that the insults were far tamer than the ones he uses later on. The number of hits may indicate how much emotional damage was inflicted on the person. In this case, it’s a low number, but it drastically increases for the latter two in the MV. The monster was stunned, not killed, implying that ice_gorilla_ice was still able to metaphorically and literally get back up on his feet. Everyone rejoices. All of this might suggest that the first case was more of a ‘call-out’ rather than ill-intentioned flaming. ice_gorilla_ice also seemingly hadn't given out his real name, so it was his online persona which was attacked. There’s a chance for him to start over. 1:30 Futa sees his professor and the woman and assumes that he’s harassing her. So, he secretly takes a picture to upload it online. This case seemingly shows how Futa cares little for the victims of what he deems to be injustice, and his real motive is to punish others so that he can elevate himself. His sadistic nature is highlighted in two lines: “What I want to hear is the scream deep inside you” and “We’re gonna punish you until you cry.” The woman appears uncomfortable, however, the situation is ambiguous. There’s little definitive proof that the professor had malicious intent or that it was even s-xual harassment in the first place. We, and therefore Futa, also can’t hear the conversation taking place. Taking into consideration his binary thinking style, he likely made various assumptions with the sparse context available and likely made exaggerations to paint the picture he wanted-implied by how the real scene taking place becomes distorted. The reasonable thing to do would be to confront the professor to avoid a misunderstanding of the situation. In case that the professor did have ill intentions, he could potentially use the photo to leverage against him. The next option would be to inform someone else. We can see that there are other people closeby, so if he feared facing the professor alone, he could’ve asked for help. Yet, he sneaks away to upload the photo. Hypothetically speaking, if the woman was indeed being harassed, Futa essentially deserted her. He’s not acting in her interest, but his. The post is also worded in an insensitive manner. 「拡散希望、大学教授のセクハラシーン。見られてると思わなかったんだなw 大学に通報よろ」It roughly translates to [Spread the message/Please RT. This is a photo of a university professor committing s-xual harassment. He probably didn't think he'd be seen lol. Report him to the university. Thanks.] This is likely a violation of the woman’s privacy, especially since she had no prior knowledge of the picture (盗撮 indicates no consent was given when taking it). She also hadn’t permitted him to upload the photo onto the internet. 1:56 Notice how the background has changed from black with coloured squiggles to a monochrome version of this pattern. His binary way of thinking is now in full force. 2:07 He switches from the dagger to the sword, implying that he wishes to do more damage to the professor than the previous cyberbully. Futa is leading the attack, but his followers are close behind him. There are fewer people than in the last case. The decrease is likely because of the little evidence Futa presented, but he deems them as non-believers of justice instead; this is implied by the earlier line “If you get off now, you’re a traitor”, which ties in with his binary friend-or-foe mindset. There are two Xs, which suggests that the professor suffered far more serious consequences, e.g. destruction of reputation, difficulty in career prospects, etc. 2:39 Unlike the previous two cases, we’re not shown an incident which Futa’s target has caused before the gamification of the setting and the announcement of the target. The only thing we see beforehand is a large house. This suggests that Futa had little reason to harass the said person. Either the incident was so minor that to the point where he can’t remember why he cyberbullied them, and/or he envied the person’s wealth instead. 3:07 Futa takes the lead and his handful of followers just watch him. This might imply that Futa’s remaining allies viewed his acts towards the final person as a spectacle, and didn’t partake in it themselves.

3:07 Futa takes the lead and his handful of followers just watch him. This might imply that Futa’s remaining allies viewed his acts towards the final person as a spectacle, and didn’t partake in it themselves. One thing to note is that on the top left-hand corner, we see the term “Dark Triad” with Futa’s level displayed below. Dark Triad is a term used to refer to the three personality traits: psychopathy, Machiavellianism and narcissism. We can see Futa displaying characteristics in all three. Selfishness, impulsivity and a lack of remorse are associated with psychopathy. (The last trait is implied by the line “I’m an undead hero”. It suggests that he’s willing to continue his actions despite being attacked by the public. Not to mention, the name he gives himself is Pazuzu-a Mesopotamian demon, who is considered evil, but wards other evils away.) Exploiting others and having a high level of self-interest are associated with Machiavellism. Narcissism is characterised by pride and having an inflated sense of importance/perception of oneself. His level starts at 21, increases to 117, and finally reaches 132; this could imply that as he continues these acts, he begins to develop more/stronger tendencies related to these malevolent personality traits. 3:26 He wipes the blood off his cheek and no one else was tainted. Since he was the only one who took an active role in the cyberbullying, he was the one person they could pin the blame on. The person committed suicide likely by falling from a great height, which is suggested by the positioning of the corpse, the broken bones, and the prior emphasis on the size of the house. Futa’s final allies abandon him after this, realising that he’s acting out of self-interest and not justice. 3:42 We are back in reality and Futa appears to be fixated on something. His place of residence was likely vandalised. In the background, the same short railings we see during his commute are present. He checks his phone and drops it. The posts on the bottom are cases of him flaming his last victim, but the most recent post is a reply to one of Futa’s messages. The text is blurry, but in the message, he gives an implicit indication of where his residence is, assuming that the last line reads 「近所なのウケるw」It’d roughly translate to [It’s in the neighbourhood/It’s nearby. That’s funny lol]. The public has finally turned on him as the reply to Futa’s message reads 「一番の加害者はお前」 [The biggest perpetrator/wrongdoer is you] 3:52 The final scene shows Futa observing the activity on his phone with a terrified expression. He likely has the lights off to give the impression that he isn’t around. Futa fears for his safety as the public now knows of his whereabouts.

After reading this amazing analysis, I don't think I can forgive him. He had no reason to dox the last victim other than the fact that he wanted popularity and attention. He wasn't remorseful for his actions but rather scared of his own safety. In the song Under, it was stated that he was running away from his sins, not daring to face them. This shows his little sense of remorse and thus makes him a hypocrite and unforgivable to me. What do you guys think?

Futa is shown in the video game Fortnite is constantly on his phone, which shows a complex around the Internet and social media. He is trying to have good intentions and killing bad April and thinks he has a hero complex. Both people IRL am online, similar to light Yagami I’m definitely. We know he wanted to kill bad people from “you won’t be forgiven and, atone for your sins* (2:33) he ends up, finding a woman being sexually harassed by a man and exposes him online. (3:20) later we cut to him in a video game scene him and his followers killing this man. Which means this man probably died because of him IRL. This itself wouldn’t be a problem as he has good intentions to make the world a better place even if it means killing. Because in the end he’s probably saving more lives than taking. The problem arises when him and his followers find a person online who made you guilty and drive this person to suicide. ( we’re not entirely sure if she deserved the cyber bullying because we don’t know what she did) we know this, because in the video game format for their health goes down drastically, but no one is actually attacking them. And then head to the phone seen where the phone is cracked you can see the comments of the things people said that drove her to kill herself. Since we don’t actually know what she did, and I don’t know if I took it too far under most circumstances most people don’t deserve to be told to do something like that, and it isn’t until after it happens that he starts feeling guilty and realizing what he has done so because of this, he started off with the right intentions, but is later **Deemed guilty**

my theory for this mv: Futa is someone who leads people to cancel others (internet cancel culture these days, ya know). He considers it justice to attack those who are in the wrong by stalking them and getting dirt on them then posting it online. The party members are the people who would jump on the hate bandwagon against the targeted person. In the end, something unexpected happened because after Futa cancelled someone hard, they committed suicide (?) which makes Futa indirectly responsible for someone's death.

I think the whole internet game thing is just a metaphor for bullying. Futa sees it all as a game and it is so easy because his "friends" stay behind him. But one time they overdid it and his "friends" where to afraid and ran away. He was kinda the leader I guess because he always tracked down the target and told the gang to join him getting justice on them. He felt strong while commanding others to do justice but that one time they overdid it and he lost his power over the others. And it all happened in real life while the whole games asthetic was just a metaphor for seeing it as a game.

Futa is then shown fighting a large ice gorilla-like creature ( 1:09 ). This is right after Futa sent a message targeted towards ice_gorilla_ice (again at 0:59 ) and a wave of tweets began piling up, likely attacking his target. In the second case of the video, he finds a guy harassing a girl ( 1:41 ) and posts a picture of it to twitter ( 2:02 ) which is directly mirrored with him putting up a wanted poster in the MMO metaphor ( 2:00 ). He is rallying the internet to cancel his target, or gathering his party in the game. the third case has fewer tweets, but the allies simply disappearing ( 3:32 ) when it comes out the victim died likely refers to people deleting their tweets or accounts once they realize what's happened. Of course this is simply my theory but it seems very plausible given character quotes from futa like "There's no way I can't forgive this! It's a violation of human rights! I'm gonna sue you!" which I believe shows he isn't prone to violence as a response, else he likely would have used that as his threat. Plus his denial of having actually caused the death, which would be a lot easier to do if he wasn't directly the cause.

friendly reminder that the MVS aren't objective records of what happened, as obviously, fuuta was never in a video game, muu never was trapped in an hourglass, and yuno did not actually stand on DNA-shaped staircases with gifts and balloons. the MVS are not memories. they are directly influenced by the prisoners' feelings on themselves. by how they see themselves. what we see and the way we see them is a reflection of how they see themselves. bring it on is what it is because it is how fuuta sees what happened, and himself. if it weren't for his opinion of himself, bring it on wouldn't look like it is about someone who can't be forgiven also, his voice actor said he had to make fuuta seem way worst than he actually he is, to the point where he wondered, i quote " is it really okay for me to do this to this extent ?! " and stated " in comparison to his voice lines, fuuta is meant to feel so much badder when doing those sort of things ".. in comparison to how he actually feels last thing i'm gonna say is if you haven't, listen to fuuta's cover of mozaik role on spotify. it's pretty interesting, some of the choices they made. considering they gave otome kaibou to mu and the common interpretation of it is that it is about a girl wondering if her love is truly love or an illness, i'm pretty much convinced the songs they cover are also relating to the characters somehow. btw im not trying to be aggressive it's just..i love fuuta too much

The cover songs are definitely related. Two Breaths Walking - Haruka (The song is about a story of a person who wants to receive love and strive for the attention if his parents.) Sticky Bug - Yuno (Possible relations to how she acts on the basis of 'I want to find true love', due to her father leaving her. Or it could also related to how she puts on many personas for different people.) Futa - Mozaik Role (Relation to the having a lack of love from his family? Thus he resulted to going online and starting a witch hunt?) Mu - Otome Kaibou (Interpretation on love, illnesses, shamefulness and 'this is your fault you know?') Shidou - Liar Dance (Relations to lies and deceit) Mahiru - Psychogram (Song is related a girl who goes yandere on a boy who she is in love with. At the end of the song, girl kills the boy to be together forever. However she was now disappointed that she can no longer hear his voice.)

The reason he wouldn't accept what he did is because he feels like the other people are also responsible for the murder too but they all turned it on him 3. He is an introvert and outcast which means he doesnt know how to confront to society he was probably bullied too which made him alone the only time we see him interacting with people was ingame and they used him as a scapegoat Ty for reading this

So basically Futa got addicted to being a hero online and his ego eventually got him in trouble for it. In the beginning you see a lonely Futa at an Arcade where a bunch of boys are and 1 of them is apparently cyber bullying another person. Futa calls him out online and others join him, this is shown by the game fight scene where Futa is armed with a dagger. This lights up his ego and his own 'self justice'. Later in his university he spots a teacher with a women who seems to be a bit uncomfortable. Futa's self justice and need to win kicks in and he snaps a pic, posting it online while saying the teacher was sexually abusing the girl, in reality we don't know if the teacher ever touched the girl and Futa is only assuming. Again the fight scene comes up and this time Futa is in the front of the group armed with a sword. He defeats the monster (aka teacher, possibly ending the teachers career). After this, Futa is walking and suddenly appears in front of a house with a new monster. We arent shown the human equivalent or what they did but Futa goes at them full force with a flaming sword and this time kills the monster. Unlike the other monsters who were stunned or knocked out, this monster is killed and spills blood on Futa which makes him freak out. I think this means whoever the real person was that Futa called out or bullied online ended up killing themselves and now Futa has "blood on his hands".

I think the reason people voted him guilty is because they didn't understand the nuance. During the beginning and middle half of the video he's making himself out as a hero whose doing the right thing which rubbed people the wrong way, but the majority of people didn't focus enough on the last 5-10 seconds where it shows his fear and regret for his actions, realizing that his actions had consequences, and putting up a face to deal with the fear of it

@@quiveringBastard To understand that and still vote him guilty though is the definition of hypocrisy. As Futa mentioned himself us players are doing the *exact* same thing that he was doing. Our actions directly lead to Kotoko assaulting people, and had it not been quite literally due to pure chance, we would have been *Exactly* the same as him, with our voting resulting in another's death unintentionally . To condemn Futa to punishment when by the very act of doing so would make you a massive hypocrite is illogical at best. The only people who can condemn Futa would be people who are choosing not to vote, as the very nature of voting makes us just as bad as he is

  • @Karzakus

    @Karzakus

@@quiveringBastard Don't you see that that supposed "major difference" you're talking about is *literally* what caused the high school girl to kill herself? Just because everyone else is doing something doesn't mean that your individual choice to participate in the activity doesn't mean anything, or that it's somehow no longer immoral to do so. If any single person who cancelled the girl chose to not do so, she would have still killed herself as the problem at hand was the sheer volume of hatred being spewed at her. While each individual person hating on her for whatever she did made no difference, it was the collective that caused the girl to die. It's not different because "we're steering to the lesser of two evils" because that's what everyone cancelling her thought they were doing as well. either "let this person who committed this 'evil deed' roam society (for example the sexually harassing teacher that futa cancelled), or point out the evil act and make a big enough noise that somebody does something about it to remove this threat from society and ensure they don't do it again. The very arguments you're using to justify voting Futa guilty are the *exact* justifications Futa and anyone who cancelled the girl would be using to justify why they didn't do anything wrong. As you said indeed its not our right to punish or forgive him, but the point is regardless of our rights we are *choosing* to do that. As such we are doing *Exactly* what futa did to get placed in here, so to vote him guilty is to be a gigantic hypocrite. We just like him had no right to place our judgments on these people, but we chose to do so anyways, we're taking our personal sense of morals and justice and forcing them onto others *EXACTLY* like futa did, hence why we should be voting him innocent since he literally did what we are doing as we speak. The existence of 3 separate trials is sort of moot because as we know prisoners can die before their third trial. As jakalope said mahiru literally would have died if not due to sheer luck of us voting shindou innocent, and the cause of that was us voting Kotoko innocent. As such we should be taking each round of voting as the prisoners potential last, because we have no idea how the prisoners will interact with each other (for example it's very likely that haruka will be dead in the 3rd trial, he said so himself that if we vote Mu guilty he will kill himself in his audio drama) On the topic of his crusades, I disagree that he didn't stop after they apologized. We don't know for sure of course, but the entirety of Futa's 2nd song was about how after he "started the fire" (reported on the wrong doings of some individual to cancel them) how the fires got completely out of his control to the point of suffocating him. The entire song is about how he gets burned by the fires he started and how he gets suffocated by them, which is an allegory to how things went way to far and out of his control, farther than he ever intended for the hate to go. In terms of the individual levels of voting I would argue there was indeed not much thought put into it. Look at how shindou, a literal organ harvester or at bare minimum someone who stole donor organs from the people who deserved them got voted innocent. Meta game wise thank god people voted him innocent, but on an individual level he had no right to be voted innocent considering how blatant his crime was. Similarly look at how mahiru was voted guilty but kazui innocent. Mahiru's crime was loving someone too much, while kazui's crime was loving another woman after already committing to another and being married. The only difference between them is in the music videos, Mahiru's crimes were a lot more clear(such as her calling him at ungodly hours and getting mad at him for not answering), while Kazui's you had to actually look into the deeper meaning of the video to get a better understanding of what on earth was going on. Lastly can't forget Futa who on an individual level voting him guilty in my opinion is ungodly hypocritical. On a meta game level, I actually do think voting him guilty here was the right call and just kotoko was an unfortunate after effect, since we saw first hand how fucky people get when their ideals are reinforced looking at Mu and Haruka , so ensuring that he didn't go insanely "I DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG I AM JUSTICE" was overall a good thing. Assuming we're not meta gaming though, on the individual level voting him guilty is just pure hypocrisy for my aforementioned reasons

Honestly, I think voting him guilty in round 1 was for the best. He was sorry, but he was also very much in denial that he’d fucked up. I think voting him innocent would have just affirmed that he’d done nothing wrong, and we would have ended up with another Mu or Kotoko on our hands. This way, he’s now fully aware that he fucked up, which hopefully means the “cyberbullying is bad” lesson will stick and he won’t do it again.

Some thoughts about Fuuta. I think Fuuta might secretly be one of the more remorseful prisoners. Obviously at first glance he definitely believes he's doing the right thing. He stated that he didn't kill anyone. But if he truly thought he was in the right, I don't think he would be so defensive. After all, it's one less 'evil-doer' to him, right? Given his knight persona in the MV, he seems like he wouldn't care because he thinks these people he's cancelling are better off dead. Yet his denial is a big indicator that he feels some guilt really deep down, because he knows the suicide would make him as bad as those he targeted. The song itself sounds EXTREMELY aggressive, in a way that's far past just being 'heroic shonen music', perhaps indicating some self-awareness of how relentless he was being. Another hint is the line referring to him in Under Cover. "I'm playing hide and seek from my sin" which implies he knows the gravity of what he did, but doesn't want to face up to it because he wouldn't be able to live with himself otherwise.

You made a lot of great points, I will have to agree with you here. His profile explicitly states that he is **not** a bad person, just cowardly so it’s hard to get to know his true intentions. That, and his voice drama implies that his aggressive behavior is some sort of defense mechanism, a way to protect himself from hurt. I don’t know why he clings onto this oversimplified perception of ‘justice’ of his so hard, but I think it’s quite obvious that he really doesn’t want to be something he hates... I feel like that would also explain him getting Mozaik Role out of everything to cover, though I am aware that cover songs are not supposed to be taken as truth

Can I talk about how good this song's production is? More specifically, the CV? He did an _amazing_ job, those growls were actually impressive. Props.

I like how people are quick to point out that what Futa does is cyberbullying and wrong, but how even quicker they turn around and practice cancel culture themselves It's funny how when it's spelled out so directly what it is like in Futa noone would agree with it but if it was just treated a bit more "reasonably" like y'all do with cancel culture he would have waaay less guiltys. It's really interesting tbh.

I think Fuuta, like another commentator said, has a pretty heavy hero complex which is fueled further by his friends joining in with him on the action, as seen by the imagery of him and his friends as RPG heroes while the people they target are the monsters. He definitely represents one of the worst aspects of cancel culture and he doesn't even think what he's doing may be no better than the people they are targeting. Eventually, Fuuta and his group take it too far and one of their victims kill themselves. The other monsters were just injured, but this monster is covered in blood and so is Fuuta. His friends disappearing could possibly signify them leaving him to deal with the consequences of their cyberbullying despite everyone being guilty. Edit: Apparently according to the TV Tropes for Milgram, red eyes signify "unforgivable" or "guilty" characters and Fuuta's eyes are red at *3:59*

I could be overthinking things, but the term used for "assemble" in Japanese is この指とまれ, which is used to say "assemble, gather around", but a very literal way to translate it is "stop this finger". I wonder if there could be a double meaning of 'those who believe in justice assemble'/'stop Futa from posting (stopping his fingers)' Edit: I think this double meaning might apply in particular to the "Right before the bad news, those who believe in justice assemble" part in the chorus, which could then assume the meaning of "It'd be better to stop before it's too late" too. If we go with this, in the last chorus the "right before the bad news" part is not repeated, which might be because it's already too late.
