it is in a way she is underrated but I must say their r a lot of ppl who do acknowledge that her voice is gr8 and unique . It's just ppl dont really like her songs , like pop isn't really her category I have guess . I do like a few of her songs. But I dont know it's like she hasn't found her genre yet or something . Like this cover was awesome and i loved her cover joelene. And a lot of ppl want her to venture into the rock genre . I dont know , I hope she gets their . Coz she has a lot of potential. That voice , it's really special and very unique . And she has gr8 ability to display emotion in her voice as well.

She's underrated not because of her music, more that people get hooked on what has gone by.... i.e. she did this or that, looks this or that way, said this or that, so she is naturally shite. Pathetic. As for her music and song writing, head and shoulders above most. It's not all for me, but she is very talented. Did Glastonbury couple years ago and was probably the standout performance. Rarely hits sharp/flat.
