Looks bland and dated.

I love these fashion strolls in Italy, but just realized that I felt something was "off." Then I realized it, looking at this one: virtually, NO people of color. I'm white, but this is a too pale for me. Black, Asian and Latin people are the greatest self-styling people in the world. Where are they? I've heard that Italy is very racist. They probably don't feel comfortable there.

Milano è una città multietnica. Ma che razzismo! I popoli di diverse etnie aprono diverse attività commerciali soprattutto in tutta Italia e soprattutto a Milano. Sarebbe questo il razzismo? Per quanto riguarda la moda, mi dispiace doverlo dire ma gli stranieri non si vestono molto bene. Non hanno buon gusto in generale , non è una questione di ricchezza ma solo di buon gusto! Forse è questo il motivo per cui non sono stati ripresi!

They're not here because this is not the US...people of color, Asians, Latinos only started migrating to Italy about 25-30 years ago, there are actually lots of them but they still represent a small percentage of the entire population. While there's plenty of them in the US because they started immigrating wayyyyy earlier, plus their ancestors (speaking of African-American people) were made slaves since the 16th century, which of course didn't happen in Europe as you certainly know. You can find lots of POCs in other European countries such as France and UK since these countries ran colonial empires in Africa for centuries, exploiting the local population, whereas Italy only had a small colonial empire in Eastern Africa for a few decades between the 19th and 20th century. There's lots of history behind every society, you need to learn before you can judge, let alone call someone racist

Oh btw, we don't call Latinos "Latinos", basically because we are Latin as well. We are actually more Latin than anyone else, since "Latini" was the name of a tribe named after Latium, i.e. the region around Rome (approximately coinciding with modern-day Lazio). They settled down in Central Italy only to be defeated by the Ancient Romans, whose language, in turn, was named Latin. Modern languages such as Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Romanian and French are all direct descendants of the Latin language, and are consequently listed as Neo-Latin (or Romance) languages...so, plot twist, Italians are actually Latinos! 😂
