One of the biggest issues I see on the forums is peoples lack of ability to apply capsman for their wifi setup. A series of videos would be amazing for this rather complex additional programming available on routerOS. Several because I dont think it can be captured in one video........ I recommend your videos and use them myself. Amazing educational resources so graciously and generously provided!!

You should mention that for Queues to work, disabling the FastTrack in Firewall filter is necessary. Otherwise, the packets on LAN will bypass the Queues.

You should set Dst. to your WAN interface, otherwise you end up limiting LAN traffic as well.

Good work! I have a question, I have set up everything correctly with priorities and limits and packet marking. But when there is congestion in the network, priorities doesnt seem to work correctly and I have some ping in games.. My connection is ADSL with 15M down and 800K up. What should be my limits for queues? Im currently using 12M down and 650K up

Does this apply when using VLANS, (or I suppose subnets) where typically all the interfaces are ON THE BRIDGE, whereas you have interface wlan2 OFF the bridge, very confusing.

Hi, your videos are really great! I have a small problem, I have a Huawei router connected through LAN port to a Mikrotik router which is also acting as a hotspot server. I want to make the Huawei router function as a hotspot server by passing the connected devices' addresses/mac directly to Mikrotik. is this possible?

You can run a Hotspot on mikrotik directly. No need to use that Huawei crap

In my company (university)i have open wifi and i want that only who paid their internet fee can access the internet. I wanna keep it open i want solution to isolate the users who didnt pay for it.
