Is that theorising in progres, or sharlatanism? Sword-fight dynamics won't allow you to execute those unless you get extremely lucky. Those guys think that people who devoted their life to study fencing, had never thought of twisting a wrist? Just because they lived half a millennium ago doesn't make them daft. This is like those videos of "revolutionary, new bicycles" - which never work.

Fencing has very little to do with killing/incapacitating an opponent with a sharp piece of metal. Fencing is a sport. Its not how warriors that lived a millennium ago would have fought, they would have fought more like Miyomoto Musashi, William Marshall, El Cid, Leonidus, Saint George. There likely are very few legendary warriors from a millennium ago that learned to win in fights to the death by devoting their life to the study of fencing. They learned to win in fights to the death by devoting their life to perfectly and efficiently stabbing/slicing/cutting/piercing opponents with a long and sharp piece of metal. Mikhail is teaching how to learn how to perfectly efficiently stab/slice/cut/pierce an opponent with a long and sharp piece of metal. He's not teaching 'how to use a sword', or 'how to fence', he's teaching 'how to learn to properly handle a long and sharp piece of metal in combat', the key phrase is 'how to learn'.

Why you sry? Sounds like your subconscious apologizing for the brash words of the conscious. Go spar with the fat man, bring a sword. If you beat him, he's bullshido, if he beats you, think the following "I wonder what my next thought will be" and then wait for your next thought. Whose doing the waiting? You're not your beliefs or thoughts. If entertaining a belief or thought causes you to react defensively like with, "OK, this is real bullshido, gentleman" then you've forgotten who waits. You not your beliefs or thoughts, you the silent waiter/observer. "A man who can entertain a belief without actually believing in it is a truly educated man" -Aristotle

@@SpellsOfTruth That "sorry" was adressed to those whose feelings would be hurt by my disbelief to this fairytale. Of course I think I would be able to defeat mr. Ryabko with my sword, I think I am not the only one which is probably why he always show this stuff with his own mates...

@@Tkoutlosh Since its difficult to travel to Russia nowadays, try sparring with one of the fat man's students like Vladimir Vasiliev in Toronto CA, or Konstantin Komarov(idk where he's located to be honest haha), or one of Vladimir's very high level former students like George Pogacich, Val Riazonov, or Emmanual Manolakis. Bring your sword. Good luck! The fat man is unironically the best publically known martial artist in the realm called Earth. He could 1 punch kill 99% of humans including every professional ufc fighter, and every professional boxer, with only a handful of exceptions. Don't believe me, go spar with the fat man and let me know how ya do. I bet you forget that you sparring after being hit once, and start to only think about whether or not your internal organs will be able to survive another internal punch again without exploding. Don't get me wrong, being a master in professional sports fighting means you can defeat 99% of the human race in a fight(including me), but being a world class assassin is a completely different league of skill. It means you can very easily kil any professional sports fighter in existence within a few seconds usually with a single strike they never see. The fat man TRAINS world class military assassins. His father or grandfather(i forget which) was the head bodyguard for Stalin. The fat man is 1000% legit, everything he says is absolute gold information.
