Hey Philip, the retro trucks arent really for sale, dont get me wrong, much like anything in life everything has a price. I paid 1500$ for the USA1 and that was before investing in the tires/wheels/aluminum ladder bars. If I were to part with it would have to be 2500$ as that is what it would cost me to replicate it again.

I love the clods and I would like to see some custom tutorials..like a tilt front end how too and things like that

Just stumbled on your page. Been into rc pulling since the early 90s and ran Clods a few years also. Love the USA1. Wandering who made the servo mounts and how i could get a pair for my retro class truck

So those mounts were mounts that were made and sold by a seller on ebay many years ago. I currently have not scene another set in recent years. This truck was built by Dan Wyatt and has a large collection of clod busters and parts from over the years and these mounts came out of his stock.

Love that USA-1 body. Is that the JConcept 1988 Chevy Silverado? Where'd you get the rollbar and engine parts?

its not the Jcon body, its two different older bodies from back in the day grafted together. The roll bar was made by Sassy Chassis and is no longer readily available. the engine is the stock parts from a Kyosho USA 1 kit

Thank you for the video! Any way any how, I would love to find a Powers chassis to purchase. I'm an old RCMT/Clodtalk guy and I'm trying to start a clod based MT series here in WA. I want my main truck to be a Tim Powers truck. not a copy. If you have any parts or a full chassis, I am paypal ready. pls lmk

Mathias3N definitely throw up a wanted ad, sometimes guys have stuff that they wanna part with that isn’t necessarily listed. Definitely remember the RCMTC name for sure, been a long time dude

Mainly because the axial based stuff is easier and cheaper to obtain. I would also say tougher too.

Orange Crate unfortunately you can’t do much with clod axles when it comes to scaling them out to be more realistic.
