Ask any boxer, being in physical shape is NOT boxing shape - your ability to absorb punches, especially to the head or body needs to be conditioned back into you...Run, swim, lift, etc, etc is not being ready to get hit, let alone at 51 yrs...

Go watch his pride fights he was the man in the early to mid 00s. Unfortunately him and chuck killed themselves in silvas first UFC fight they beat the shit out of each other for 5 rounds neither guy was ever the same again

But Mike was just on another level as a striker .. quick , could cut off the ring , body shots that would tear Sila apart . He's never been in their with anyone on Mike's level as a puncher . Look at what happened to Tim Sylvia when he boxed Ray Mercer . Knocked out cold

Last time I saw Tyson fight live was against Lennox Lewis. I was watching it with my brothers and father in my uncle's computer store. When he lost, it made me feel down. There's no-one in the MMA who would survive Tyson's onslaught in a striking competition past a round or two at best. This includes Miocic and ngannou.

After seeing a recent statement from Ken Shamrock I kinda want to see him and Tyson go at it. It'd be a total mess but a fun one nonetheless.

Bare Knuckle is actually a pretty even ground between MMA strikers and boxers, because boxers are obviously more skilled strkers but they're at a handicap that MMA fighters are far more used to. Boxers don't have the big ass gloves they've been trained to use as an extension of their body, MMA guys are used to smaller gloves, and they can clinch and get dirty. I'd be down.

Chael likes talking to himself because no one else can hold such complex conversations.

The weight class alone between the Conner vs Floyd fight and any MMA fighter that gets in the ring with Tyson makes it an apples and oranges difference. Floyd didn’t have enough to knock Conner out and Floyd is just very hard to hit clean. Heavyweight Tyson on the other hand , even at an advanced age for the sport is not just a heavy hitter but a great boxer. If he doesn’t hold back it would be a very short fight.

On 3rd base with a catcher’s mitt. Means you’re not in the right position or out of place. The catchers glove is not used for infielding, only catching due to its unique dimensions.
