The entrance to the fight lasted longer than the actual fight. Tyson, in his prime, was complete and utter bliss to watch.

Kudos for Mike for choosing this legendary track

I met Mike Tyson over Christmas and he was one of the kindest and most genuine individuals I have ever met. He even went out of his way to take a picture with my family for Christmas. Great moment.

I will never, ever, forget this ring entrance. Fighters enter into the area to music all the time, but watching this on television, this song perfectly framed the tension of the moment. All I could remember was hoping he was not going to kill McNeely.

This brought me back. This awesome entrance was followed by one of the best staredowns ever also, with Tyson's eyes going back and forth staring at McNeely. Followed by the rush across the ring and getting knocked down in the first 10 seconds. That stuff together made that whole show, regardless of the BS McNeely's corner pulled afterward.

Rooney trained Tyson in the peek-a-boo style, which Cus D'Amato referred to as tight defense. The style emphasized upper body and head movement, which made Tyson more difficult to hit. Counterpunching and combinations were the other components. Tyson abandoned the peek-a-boo style after Rooney was fired. He became a headhunter, which made him easier to hit. The corner men for Tyson's fight with Douglas were so incompetent, they didn't bring Endswell. They used a rubber glove filled with tap water on Mike's swollen eye. Evander Holyfield acknowledged that he may not have been able to defeat Tyson, if he still had Rooney as his trainer.

MIKE TYSON was definitely the MAIN ATHLETE who truly captured the crowd's IMAGINATION. Yeah, MICHAEL JORDAN did too. But it was something about a MAN who was able to physically FIGHT & do BATTLE against BIGGER HEAVIER oppossion that made it way more IMPRESSIVE :O

What I do find epic in this entrance is the way that all of Tyson's team body language and way of walking is saying out loud "We're gonna fuck shit up."
