That's Arsenio Hall. He was the host of that talkshow. If I remember correctly, he was the first African-American to regularly host a late night talkshow in the USA. Interestingly, it was actually a comedy talkshow and it's notable that the audience is silent when Mike Tyson is talking.

It’s an essential part of the process to generate interest which translates to revenue. Not to mention, at times, the pre-fight activities play a part in the actual outcome of that fight. Connor beat Aldo before they ever stepped in the ring and that’s why he walked through him in the first round.

The older I get the more I respect Mike. I thrive off the hunger and discipline that Cus taught him. I also respect the fact Mike spoke on real things and didn't beat around the bush. I think as time has gone by he's grown wiser and is a very humble person but that killer instinct is something that will never die and Mike will have till his last breath.

I’ve always appreciated that as a society we’ve generally understood “do not fuck with Mike Tyson.” Lol this is a live sitting studio audience and they DID NOT laugh at this story. They didn’t even laugh when Aresenio Hall tried to make light of the story and the seriousness that Mike just spoke with. They were probably terrified and rightfully so, Mike was not someone to joke with all nonchalantly he got very emotional and you can read it all over him.

It’s called being a simpleton. Not being able to joke with somebody or even make light of a situation makes it feel more like you’re interacting with a mentally ill, rage filled moron that could possibly assault you because a joke flew way over his head. That’s not something to encourage or be proud of, it’s a lack of basic human social skills that anyone that’s freely walking around in society should have. This clip is cringe to watch because it’s like they’re interviewing a grade schooler about how he gets mean looks from the next lunch table.
