Pens lost twenty one (21) games by 1 goal. During those losses the PP went 8 for 83. Pens also led the league in giving up short handed goals (12) this year. Led the league in games lost after winning after 2 periods. Led the league last year in that stat too (9 games). Played guys like harkins (45 games, 0 goals) over guys like Gruden, Puljujarvi, Poulin, etc. Why?

@@Recon6delta crazy, right? that 8 for 83 stat was from rob rossi (i think). can you imagine if the PP was actually functional? but went from 14th in the league last year to 31st this year so its getting worse.

I think he probably gets a much shorter leash in '24-'25 but I put a LOT of our shortcomings on GOALTENDING..look at the Caps, they made the playoffs with a -40 goal differential, and it was almost completely due to the play of their goalie..they won a lot of 2-1 3-2 games and Jarry and even Ned (except for late season for Ned) made that extra goal stealing save to steal us a win or 2..goaltending is SO VITAL in this league, if you look at the top tier squads they all have PLUS GOALTENDING..start there, and things fall in place better

Time for you to do a self evaluation and move on…along with the rest of the coaching staff. Blown leads are one aspect of failure but the PP, 31st in the league was pathetic.

Sullivan hasnt won a playoff series in 7 years. He has not adapted to his team skills. Like mike tomlin...he should be fired.

Sullivan sounds a little beat down in this video. I’m sure he is dissatisfied and disappointed with the season. Probably also worried about his future.

This guy is institutionalized. He wouldn't know how to live if he didn't have this organization in his life! He needs to figure out the next chapter in his life because he's not long for this job! WTF else can he do that he hasn't or has refused to do? Nothing!
