"I just wanna say how happy I am to be playing at Bird's Basement the famous Jazz Club in Melbourne Australia.
I'm really lucky to be bringing some fantastic musicians. Dennis Chambers on Drums who I've played with for years, Jimmy Haslip on Bass who I've played with when I was a guest with the yellow jackets, Danny Walsh, an amazing tenor saxophone player who I played with a lot in New York City, and Leni Stern, My wife, who is a wonderful, creative musician. Wonderful guitar player and also plays n'goni which is an African instrument. I've never played with Dennis Chambers and Jimmy Haslip together, but I know they're an amazing rhythm section because I've heard them together with other bands. So this gig should be really really special. A great band, playing at a great club! - Mike Stern

The feel, the style, the class. This is not a comeback, it's an evolution in feel, texture, and beauty of the note singing and swelling. This is all I love about live music.
Thanks, Bird's Basement for putting this up. And thanks to Mike, Leni and the other fantastic musicians that even if one avenue is closed down, several others open up and that you can't put a great mind and talent down. I hope all the trolls bury their heads in shame when hearing this wonderful tune full of soul, feeling and happiness. Go on Mike, you've got plenty of years ahead of you! Thanks for the extraordinary music over the years from this couple of outstanding talents.

Здесь все играют круто кроме самого Марка Штерна. Он играет какую то херню.
The drummer is rubbish. He dunt know which end of the stick to hold. Only joking of course. Caught him striking the side of the cymbal with a vertical stick, then tapped it with the thick end and not the pointy end.
