Brilliant thanks for having Readie on your Podcast, I've been a loyal fan/supporter since 1984 when we met at Cliff's Rock Gospel Show recording. I was a regular listener of his Breakfast show at Radio One and have followed his extensive radio career and I ran his fanclub during the mid 80s. I'm now tuning into his online radio breakfast shows and looking forward to seeing his new Musical at Esher Theatre, Mike's my all-time favourite DJ/presenter/radio laureate/author/pop quiz master extraordinaire!

Mike's evening shows on R1 were excellent at introducing the new music that changed the late part of the 1970s into the early part of the 1980s. Post punk period. I think its a good thing You Tube have various uploads available for "free" rather than a more organised approach. The fact Mike's tried the BBC only to be met with Red Tape seems to prove that point. At least on You Tube, regardless of quality, vintage TV is kept current.
totp has been a big success on bbc4 ,I'm sure pop quiz would be the same
