Breaking Bad follows protagonist Walter White (Bryan Cranston), a chemistry teacher who lives in New Mexico with his wife (Anna Gunn) and teenage son (RJ Mitte) who has cerebral palsy. White is diagnosed with Stage III cancer and given a prognosis of two years left to live. With a new sense of fearlessness based on his medical prognosis, and a desire to secure his family's financial security, White chooses to enter a dangerous world of drugs and crime and ascends to power in the world. The series explores how a fatal diagnosis such as White's releases a typical man from the daily concerns and constraints of normal society and follows his transformation from mild family man to a kingpin of the drug trade.

Trade in one Monster for another… that’s the point of Hector & Tuco’s return in this spin off prequel. It’s nice to have returning characters. But there’s a reason why they’re in the show than just a cameo.

Love how Margolis really starts off in this scene like the nice old maxican uncle. Wearing that straw hat, white shirt and just apologizing. then comes the favor and it really ends with the "Think about it!" wich already comes off like "You should just say yes." And all facade is gone after this scene. The next time they meet Hector is showing his true colors, but so does Mike.

There probably aren't that many places in Albuquerque that they were able to film inside, so it is likely that every diner scene is from that same diner. There's no reason to need to use a second diner.

That was nice of him to throw a 10 spot down for a simple cup of coffee. I wonder if Mike is gonna tell the waitress to take his cup outta that too. It's for sure a lot to think about.

Thats actually really true. Mike definitely would be facing the door. Unless he was embarrassed about his face and didn't want everyone seeing it.

Interesting how Hector shows his lack of humanity by completing ignoring the waitress other than to ask for black coffee. Like she’s an absolute nothing to him.
