Mangini is so multi-talented, as is Portnoy. Well, Portnoy is continuing on with other projects which I am sure will be awesome, and I will be following. Dream Theater now has Mangini, and FOR SURE I will be following what happens there. I think it's win-win for everyone involved -- it's like some folks don't seem to realize, hey, you CAN still love and follow what Portnoy is doing, AND look forward to Dream Theater's future as well. They are different paths now, but both will carry on.

@jerrywitaj Sorry, look at the posted videos, Mike can do any thing Gadd and Colaiuta can. Weckl has the upperhand thought when it comes to jazz-latin-fusion improvisation, no beats him at that. But Mikes still no one, with weckl as a close no two. And Lang, and Tony Royster...And check out Dylan Elise! Given all the new up and coming drummers who masters all styles and speeds, Gadd and Colaiuta are - sadly - left behind. 20 odd years ago they were the best, now is not then....
