Tommy Lee that is simply not true, sure there are guys overseas that could have a bench role in the league and opt for a better situation overseas without sacrificing that much money, and sure there are guys that for what ever reason fall out of organized ball completely. But the guys we see now are the absolute best of the best save a few outliers

  • @daycol759

@Tommy Lee you sound incredibly ignorant. For one, just because Isaiah Thomas says something doesn't make it true just because he was a pro. I agree that there's a lot of bench players who could be replaced by players not in the league but for the most part they're being paid millions to be on a roster for a reason. The fact that you said you could find anyone to compete "easily" with NBA players was the dumbest thing ive ever heard. Anyone you pick would get mopped across the floor by any NBA player. Think of it this way; there are hundreds of TOP college players that didnt make the league because the talent level of NBA players is that HIGH. Yet, you think you could find some that would school NBA pros? Im assuming youre better at scouting than NBA scouts? Youre smarter than NBA Gms? Lmfao. No.

It’s his size mixed with his inability to guard anything but the PG. all players his size in the league hang their hats on the defensive end (except the obvious superstars like Curry who are so offensively talented that it outweighs their defensive struggles), he’s a Fred Van Fleet without the dog in him.

This is a tough comparison. Mike James is phenomenal but Fred Vanfleet is a far better shooter. Even Mike will tell you this. Mike James is a more versatile finisher for sure, but if he grows into the shooter Van Fleet is, he'd be a superstar. I want this to happen by the way, this guy Mike is different.

Mike “Da Irishman” James from Portland, Oregon. Won a State Championship in 2008 at Grant HS. He isn’t lying that he was the third best player on his high school team. You had Mike Moser (UCLA, UNLV, Oregon), played Pro & coaches now with the Dallas Mavs. Then you had Paul McCoy (SMU & St. Mary’s) & now runs strength and conditioning business in Portland, Or. Then Mike James attended Eastern Arizona JC for 2 years & then transferred to Lamar University for his last 2 years. After college when Mike started playing professionally he started in third division Greece 🇬🇷. Look where he’s at now??? 👀🙏🏽🏀 Mike James also played AAU with our I-5 Elite program with Myself, Kendrick Williams (Nike Rose City Rebels Director) & Ime Udoka (Assistant Coach of Brooklyn Nets). He’s also worked out with @hoopdreamsbball (Portland, Or) since 7th grade. Mike James has an amazing story and continues to defy the odds!! He can do anything he wants to on the basketball court. I am extremely proud of what Mike has accomplished and will continue to accomplish as a man. 💯🤝🏀🧠
