I have always admired Mike James game since I saw him play for the Nets few seasons ago... He has that deep bag when it comes to scoring... Which makes me wonder how great would the NBA players really be when bonafide ballers like Mike James is a journeyman often moving in and out of the NBA

KD’s moves aren’t fancy but deadly for creating just a little space - all that he needs to rise as a 6’10-11 guy with touch. His cross-jab is amazing…simple and effective.

i really wish to see KD can play at a high level till his 40s. But Melo's game not that different with KD offensively and he still struggle to play his game at a high level in his mid 30s. Hopefully KD's build (height and light) will help him to keep prolong his prime bcs at least next year, he definitely not slowing down

And Kd is a bit slower on his drives, corss overs, and even has a lower pull up than before the injury. Still, you don't guard KD one on one. People think KD was shut down by tatum but if you really know basketball you know that tatum was just the primary Defender. The rest of the team was helping as soon as KD entered the 20 foot range.

@@Christopher._M that honestly shows how scared teams are of KD. They know if they let him go one on one, he will dominate so they throw everyone at KD in hopes to stopping him. His efficiency was bad but his raw numbers were great. 26/6/6 is still pretty good.

Thank for posting this, really enjoyed it. Durant is unbelievably good. Dinwiddie impressive too. Just great to see how they approach practice and the moves they use. Durant was hitting everything automatic no matter who tried to defend him.
2 major takeaways for me are: 1. Evan Mobley has the mobility and rough talent to warrant the potential to be a mini Durant. He probably can't put up kd numbers but in a couple years they might be putting him in a 4 or 3 position with the ball in his hands more. 2. KD does not need any handle. He can fumble like he has butter fingers the entire time and the second he rises for a shot it's a 90% chance it's going to be good lol.

@opzz xsin honestly it’s at that point that everything is easy he done mastered the game totally even in the boston series he was outnumbered if you really think of it the nets were starting 3 players below 6”4 and pairing it with a 7 foot inexperienced center and the shortest guys on the celtics was 6”4 so the could practically focus all their attention on him

@opzz xsin yeah cause of the soft touch and the high arc on the ball shooting the ball with an high arc means the ball enters the hoop at 19% larger angle also he doesn’t really need to aim that long cause all the has to do is shoot it up in the air again his workouts are literally carbon copy what he does in the game same shot same spot same tempo simple and efficient

My dad has the same ability. Although he’s not even close to as good as KD he can still make certain shots even if I’m covering his eyes. He has practiced shooting from the elbows and free throw thousands of times, so he can shoot it with his eyes closed. This is why most nba players can shoot unbothered from their favorite spots, but KD can shoot unbothered from almost anywhere.
That match up w/ Dinwiddie and KD was interesting to watch.

Isaiah Mobley can shoot. Mike James should be in a rotation. I've never seen him play poorly. I wish I could pick out two of the guys in all black. I think Jordan Bell plays in every summer pickup game. Feels like he's been in every video for years - respect.
