Clough and Taylor should have been England managers. They defeated the great Liverpool team with little money and brilliant scouting. Resurrected players careers . Never cheated , respected referees. Greenwood Robson were losers in old first division. Clough won it twice with 2 different teams from scratch. Typical of England , they dont see great pioneers or visionaries Thank Tim you are a class act. BBC ITV Sky should have you as an anchorman similar to Des Lynam .

Greenwood should never have got the job, the biggest indictment of Bobby, who I love, was not grasping how to play Waddle and Barnes together and the poor start in Mexico when he should have stuck to the logic of the qualifiers and pre-tourney matches...No Robson and Wilkins...

Like anything in life, if you say it how it is, you can easily upset the establishment elite when they don't always wish to hear the truth. RIP Brian Clough & Peter Taylor.

I shall rewrite that..if Robson was fit he could have played a screening role with Reid pushed up field to support Hoddle..

I do small vlogs most weekends at various Non League matches, and the only thing it lacks generally is atmosphere..and I’ve often thought that it would be brilliant one day if a former commentator would join me…and Mike Ingham would be right at the top of a dream wish list.

Fascinating picture at 1:30...a real blast from the past. I've got Jon Champion, Des Lynam, CMJ, Pat Murphy, Jim Rosenthal, and then Cliff Morgan and Harry Carpenter at the front. Who are the other 7??
