This is all six episodes of Mike Harding's 'Live In Belfast' TV series for the BBC from 1984. It was taken from an old VHS, re-edited to remove the title and end sequences from each programme (so that it is now like the complete concert that it was on the night - I attended the show in question, aged 5!) and has been converted to 16:9 ratio (rather than the standard 4:3 of 1980s telly's), with audio restored (tape hiss removed and volume enhanced). This is probably the best version of the complete show available, as Mike himself believes that the Beeb will most likely have wiped the master tapes.
All programmes were originally broadcast on BBC 2 at 9pm

listen to this comedy and musical genius nearly every day, so relaxing and enjoyable
I too remember his BBC2 shows, Bombers Moon is an exceptionally well written and poignant song, and the album is fantastic Mike Harding should have been more acknowledged than he was
I remember him being on BBC2 when I was "young"(er, a lot). Half hour shows with a folk band called (I think) Fivepenny Bit (or Piece?). The Rochdale Cowboy's comedy stuff paralysed me with laughter, or like Bombers Moon in this, gives you pause for thought. KZread psychic randombot brought me here, and I am grateful to you both!

Fivepenny piece. Grew up on their unique blend of music and comedy myself. In completely the wrong era, but that's what older parents with unfettered access to the burgeoning internet will do to you.

There are other shows I have uploaded including Lincoln and then Belfast where I was in the audience aged 5
I wouldn’t have wanted to sit next to that guy with that laugh!!!
I was at this concert ( well at least one of them). It was at the Opera House. I was only 19. Look forward to sitting down with a coffee and watching again. Thanks for posting
