And the UK government refuses to acknowledge the PA as a real party and refuse to allow them to participate in the election. The government is afraid that a lot of English people would vote for them as the PA wants to deal with rising crime and and the overload of immigration. The government is using the media to brand the PA as far right and as nazis and frighten the people into not taking the PA party seriously. However, the truth is the PA is reflecting the voice and wishes of the British people, possibly even the majority of the British people, who are afraid of losing their culture and are as tired of the rise in violence and the out of control immigration problem as the Swedish people are. We should watch what happens in the Italian election. Maybe for better, or for worse, the far right will have sweeping victories across Europe. But not in England, which has basically outlawed any such possibility.

This isn't a political rant, but a frank and brutally honest explanation for why we voted the way we did: For the past 100+years, the Swedish mentality has been that of "one people, working hard to pay for collective ownership through taxes". It's *our* police force, *our* military, *our* health care, *our* public transport, *our* welfare system, *our* pension system, and *our* education. It doesn't belong to the government. We're paying taxes to the government so they can administrate all the systems *we* need to live a great life, and that quality-of-life has diminished for the benefit of others. It's the government's duty to the people to guarantee and supply the highest quality systems for us. The government has *no* right to hijack and erode any of these systems for the benefit of anyone else. Immigrants are getting free welfare, free _and_ retroactive pension, free child care and benefits, free health care and universal insurance, free education, free dental insurance, free public transport and more without any demands put on them to actually provide for the systems they use. Every single Swede has to pay for all of these things. That's *our* money and resources they're using. When a massive portion of our entire national budget goes towards providing other people with free stuff that we, the Swedish people, don't even get to enjoy, that's when it's gone too far. We need the welfare system that we've pre-paid for when hard times hit; when we lose our jobs, when we get sick, or we get injured. That's our right because we paid for it. Probably the most famous social democrat in Swedish history (Gustav Möller, chief architect of the "Scandinavian model") said: "every cent wasted is money stolen from the people". The social democrats have long since abandoned this mentality. The Swedish people, by their own Swedish government, got abuse, shame, and insults in return for telling them that they've abandoned everything that makes our society great. We don't need to take this anymore. That's why we voted for a change in government and why a large portion of us voted for stricter immigration laws.

Good for Sweden, the UK and the rest of Europe need to follow suit. immigration in itself is not a bad thing, however uncontrolled mass Immigration is becoming a huge problem, especially here in the UK over the last few decades our population from immigration and migration has increased by the millions which has put a huge strain on our housing, health services and many other areas too. The majority of leave voters voted for brexit to take back control of our borders and reduce the number of people coming in, however, it seems like the exact opposite has happened. We're only a small island and we're becoming very crowded, we need to look after the people we already have, we can't continue to be the world's dumping ground. It looks like the silent majority is alive and well!

I would argue that is the real and biggest issue: the don't want to integrate and how things work, they don't even need to. Britain has also experienced a large increase in criminality and other social and economic problems. All linked directly to legal and illegal immigration. It also gets worse in the 2nd generation.

With adequate governance, immigration can be brought under control very quickly, however the real issue is how to deport/repatriate/remove those people who have gained entry into the UK and that have no right to be there. Liz Truss is a member of the WEF and they were pushing the UN Migration Pact, signed by Theresa May on our behalf and by 25 other western countries. That Pact opened the door for the free movement of 20+millions from Africa, Asia and Middle East which is why the boatloads turning up here are housed and looked after. They aren’t going anywhere. And even if Truss was out and any other Tory, Labour or any other mob was in power, it would make no difference.

Sweden may intend to "slash" migration, just as the UK intended to do, but will they have the last word, or will Europe. Europe still seems to be dictating to the UK. The best way to discourage migration is to be unwelcoming and make little effort to integrate them into society. If they are unwelcome and the benefits less generous, they will find somewhere else to feed off.

@@surreyscouse2873 I feel like that where I live! Local kids had trouble getting into schools. Crime rate is up. My neighbour found a migrant in his backyard helping himself to his items. When stopped he had the cheek to argue with him telling him he didn’t want them. The guy was pushing around a cart. Neighbour said there was over items in there probably belonging to other people. Sad time’s. So many different languages don’t know where they come from.

Ireland is even worse in many ways, the numbers going there into such a small population so quickly is very noticeable. The politicians in Ireland clearly havent seen the damage this causes with little integration, and even denegration of the host nations culture and people who fight back. It was not so long ago that the Swedish government ran a TV campaigns based around their immigration policy and aimed at Swedish people that went something like "you must become more like the new Swedes" which I found to be a bit disturbing, it's coming back to bite now, their country has been shaken to its core in recent years with the violence that has gone out of control

I knew this was going to be bad from the beginning. How come our intelligent politicians never thought of the consequences?

I have a friend who lives in Sweden he says immigration has been a nightmare for Sweden.

Im swedish and i can confirm this. Nowadays going outside in the dark is risky as fuck, a few decades ago it was almost as safe as going out before dark.

We are all fed up with bloody immigration. That is one of the biggest reasons for voting a right wing government in my families case.

All western countries should take a pause and assess the situation. If immigration to these countries continues there will be overcrowding,lack of basic amenities and crime. It will then start resembling the countries the migrants came from. It would be best if conditions in their native countries are improved so they don't have to go to other countries.

Hopefully the first of many countries to change.

Sweden 100% spot on. We need this here. 🇬🇧

I'm sure that people like me would still find the Swedes incredibly welcoming. What the Swedes, just like MOST of us in the UK, don't want is certain groups with regressive and oppressive customs, who come into a country and then try to force their backward ways on the majority.

I agree with everything I’m seeing it truly awful. But when you have such a low birth rate will there even be any Swedes In 50-100 years? The west is very successful but they lack common sense they are dying out and are saying men are women.

Swedish culture is so beautiful and so is the country. Swedes have maintained it that way. Immigrants should be grateful to get to live in such a lovely place and contribute to the productivity of their economy.

I'd like the UK government to answer this question.. If Denmark (a full EU member) has been repatriating illegal immigrants and getting away with it how come the UK (no longer an EU member) is being prevented from doing the same by the European Court of Human Rights ?... It seems EU-controlled Denmark has more control over it's own sovereignty and resists the influence of the ECHR much more effectively than the supposedly independent sovereign nation of the UK does...

If we leave the ECHR we can be more strict, but till then UK is doing same way as US with immigration. Crime up, cost of living up, and who is paying for all these people... We who work hard. shut the border now, only if you legit escaping war should be an exception.

Sweden, Denmark, Hungary etc are all in the EU and ECHR and they are getting a grip on their immigration problem. The UK government just uses these things as an excuse. Immigration is higher now than it was 6 years ago. Deportations under Tony Blair were 50 times higher than now.

The Swedes have been sleepwalking into the abyss. They’re so addicted to their lifestyle, scenery, saunas, Volvos, ABBA and all the good things they refused to see the enemy arming itself on their lawns.

It's not just Sweden, but Denmark, the Netherlands and other parts of continental Europe. Europe is undergoing social changes that are a direct result of immigration and people are concerned about the rate at which their countries are changing. Unless problems are addressed properly and effectively, more countries will follow Sweden, and elect right leaning governments that will confront the negative effects of immigration into Europe of people that have very different values from western European ones.

In the UK, it's not just that our politicians are spineless but that we keep voting them in. Well done Sweeden
