Mike & Ginger Lucy is an amazing artist I know you thought she had a bit of a country vibe but Lucy is an amazing show singer you should check out her versions of somewhere and others she truly is outstanding.

Lucy is flawless in every song she performs I listen for hours over and over 👍

I listened to Lucy Thomas almost everyday since I discovered her.

Lucy Thomas is one of the best if not the best up coming female singer if the world. It's a shame more people don't already know of her. The voice of a Angel. This is the best version of Hallelujah by far.

Honestly, guys this performance doesn't give justice to Lucy's vocal power. Try listening to her covers of Run, Listen, Hero, Reflection and You Raise Me Up. If you think that was impressive those covers will blow you away. Trust me

You have been directed to yet another rising star. Lucy is 16. She is made for musical theatre. Take a look at one of the clips of Lucy singing with her younger sister Martha, they are sublime together, as only siblings can be.

I get chills every time I hear Lucy sing. She has been gifted by God.

She is more Broadway. She is British and was a star in a kids talent contest. She has a couple of solo albums that are rather good. But when you listen to her Broadway things like Starlight or Never Enough, boy, she can be on the stage right now. She's got the chops. She's going to make a mark.

I find myself asking Alexa to play Lucy Thomas songs every time I'm outside on the deck...and that's nearly daily. Lucy (and Martha) are beautifully gifted and my favorite artist(s) who offer excellence each time in song performance!

Even as someone who is more of a humanist, I can appreciate this song. And Lucy has a very beautiful voice. Not sure how anyone can not like her voice. Clearly no one does dislike it since there is no dislikes on this video. That has to feel really good as a singer to see no dislikes. Very enjoyable version.

Mike, Ginger at the time she recorded this song she was at the ripe old age of 16! Lucy has a sister named Martha that is 5 or 6 years younger that she has started doing duets with. Martha's voice is rapidly maturing but when they sing together it is just as amazing. Thanks for reviewing the song.

I found Mike's comment funny - and telling: "When I first saw that pretty face, I kind of expected her to be... (Ginger butts in: "Disney-ish?" - and Mike agrees). While I had a similar knee-jerk reaction to seeing that pretty face the first time I came across this video, she was already opening her mouth and was singing and all thinking ceased! Lucy has that rare quality of being able to take you along for the ride whenever she starts singing. All you can do is to sit back and ENJOY being there. A precious quality, indeed! At the moment, the only other artists that could do this to me were Angelina Jordan, Sissel and Eivör! Only THEN did I discover that Lucy has a little sister that is similarly gifted, and I am currently on a binge, listening to their duets. One thing is clear: The world is a far, Far, FAR better place with artists like this to make live more enjoyable.

Speaking of Carrie Underwood, today I learned that Lucy's 'Hallelujah' rose to 1 million views the fastest of any song on KZread. Carrie Underwood herself left Lucy a wonderful compliment. Today, almost 12 million have viewed Lucy's 'Hallelujah'. Other Lucy songs have also reached 1 million plus.

Ginger, many reactors utter WOW! after just a few bars. You didn't say it out loud but your face indicated WOW! Also, I have not been able to get past her perfect vibrato without being affected (every time). It is beyond belief.

Many others likewise heard Lucy for the very first time perform this rendition of Leonard Cohen's classic song. It has been covered hundreds, maybe thousands of times over the years. It will never go out of style. Lucy's interpretation is different than all others. She sets the bar very high from the start, and it just climbs higher and higher. I don't expect anyone will best Lucy with this song. Even if they copied her, they will fall short of Lucy's performance. So much has happened with Lucy and Martha in 2022. Another Album, more Singles, and more Duets as well. All of us are looking forward to more from Lucy and Martha in 2023. We already know that whatever they produce and perform will be beyond amazing. We are wondering if 2023 will be the Breakout Year for Martha to release her own Solo performances. Mike & Ginger, hello again from your neighbors (when you lived in Canada, LOL!) to the South! Ginger, you clearly state that "Hallelujah" is your favorite song of all time, correct?!! Well, Lucy's version here was selected by a movie that came out in early April called "On a Wing and a Prayer", starring Dennis Quaid! Well, the vocal coach advisors looked at dozens and dozens of the top performances of this iconic masterpiece and they chose Lucy Thomas as the one for their movie in the credits at the end! Yes, she beat out Pentatonix (who I absolutely love, by the way!) and all other comers for the top spot! Well, using simply logic here, your favorite solo performer would also happen to be MY favorite solo performer, Miss Lucy Thomas; the difference being I feel Lucy is the best I've ever had the pleasure of hearing and seeing in my 6 decades of existence! She IS the real deal!

Allie from Ireland ( Where I am from ), is terrific, and a very different type of singer than Lucy. A street busker with lots of soul. Lucy is technically perfect and one of the Worlds best female singers, quite aside from being gorgeous . Another wonderful singer is Morrisette Anon from the Phillipines. Truly stunning in every way.
