Man, the teenage house parties were off the chain. I can still hear New Edition playing from the DJ( my friends big bro😊), the lights turned down low, the spiked punch and the nerves about a boy wanting a kiss me. Good, simple and fun times while trying to figure out life. Love and respect them. Great Job Mike. Can’t wait to see it.❤

I had to come out of watching this video to say “hell naw, Mike doesn’t get the credit he deserves”. The real fans know. Biv is my muse. Congratulations on the NEXT, man. Love this.

What I like about his documentary is that it puts Mike's entire career in perspective outside of just being a part of New Edition & BBD. It reminds me of when Quincy Jones got his Netflix documentary a few years ago. Most people only connect him to this trio of monster albums with Michael Jackson. However, Jones had a successful career before AND after working with MJ. Yes, the documentary touched on his work with the King of Pop. However, it did an amazing job highlighting other milestones of his career that normally get overshadowed. Mike's documentary was certainly a great watch! Really makes me want more chapters of The New Edition Story focusing more on the individuals of the group in and out of music. Heck Johnny Gill could have a mini-series of his own from his solo career, duo with Stacey, of course he was in N.E. but then went solo again, L.S.G., Heads of State with Ralph & Bobby, etc. There's just so much more to tell from these guys that one day I hope we get to see it!

I get emotional anything New Edition, growing up my brother RIP Jamilah would play their cassette tape daily, we shared a room. When side a stopped he would wake up to turn to side b and head back to sleep. Man this group has truly been tested and tried but has shown what consistency is. Everyone one of them are the true definition of an artist. Mike has never changed, never heard bad about him. He has transcended group band duo to business mogul!

When Mike said he reached out to some friends & one guy didn’t hit him back. That’s when you learn who your true friends are when your back is against the wall. I take something like that to heart ❤️ & move a little different with that person in the future or not at all. Like he said wasn’t looking to hit up anyone pockets just lead him in the right direction. We’ve all been there when people show you who they really are & that’s a hard pill 💊 to swallow, but learn from it & move on. Congratulations brother for a job well done throughout the years.

I learned so much in the short interview. It's inspiring even in my 40s to hear the grounds these guys were breaking in the early 20s. I could listen to this brotha talk all day. I know he got so many more stories to tell than footage to show. Looking forward to watching the documentary
