I went to every race at Irwindale. I loved the rivalry! Very entertaining!

I was there as well.. but I couldn't remember if it was Irwindale or Costa Mesa.. I just commented on it.. What a trip.. Brother Rock On !!

Even in this early footage, Bruce's style is recognisable.

I was heartbroken when they closed Irwindale track. It was my favorite track to ride.

Sad Day.. Was there for motocross with my friend Ricky Jackson... I attended the last drag races.. And Speedway was always something else.. Blew my mind.. Irwindale Raceway R.I.P. I Love you!!

My guess is that's Costa Mesa. Amazing footage.

Was that Irwindale? I believe it was there or Costa Mesa. But honestly I believe I was there... Too Fkn Cool.. P.F.A.

I saw them race at Costa Mesa as kid. Recall it was tight between them in the final - they dominated their earlier rounds. Great riders. Got a programme somewhere. Mike Fishback as well I think

Irwindale, you can see the San Gabriel mountains in the background, that was a great track
