Mike Alstott | Bussin With The Boys
Спорт
Recorded: February 28, 2022 | The legend Mike Alstott makes an appearance on the bus this week. Alstott was in town for the stadium series so it was only right he came by after a weekend in Nashville.
Start pod (0:00)
Intro (0:00 - 11:10)
Playing through injuries (11:13 - 20:45)
Mike's opinion on how soft the NFL has gotten (25:10 - 30:00)
Tony Dungy vs Jon Gruden (30:00 - 39:00)
Alstott's Bissacia stories (39:35 - 46:00)
Teaza & where he thinks he would fit in today's game (48:06 - 1:04:05)
End pod (1:24:07)
-----
Get on the bus with NFL players Will Compton & Taylor Lewan! The Boys are letting you in on their hilarious, high-energy (and often heartfelt) conversations. Topics range from exclusive stories to active player perspectives to out-of-left-field hot takes on things you and your friends only discuss behind closed doors. Sometimes they chat with a guest, sometimes it's just the two of them, but it's always a good time when you're Bussin' With The Boys.
And yes, this is the podcast where Mike Vrabel said he'd cut his piece off for a Super Bowl.

LFG the bruiser Mike Alstott! This dude is a Effin legend! He made it fun to watch fullbacks in the early 2000’s.
The boys were flustered for this one 🤣.. can tell there’s a hell of a lotta respect for alstott on the bus

My all time favorite NFL player. This man used to push a station wagon for his workout in high school. Can’t wait for this one!

It’s sad 😢 seeing him like this having hard time formulating a sentence … cognitive abilities diminished like he punch 🥊 drunk . It’s sad cause at one time he was one of best I ever saw .
Great video boys! Alstott was my favourite player growing up as a young buccaneers fan and made me want to play fullback and go to Purdue just like he did. Never fulfilled the Purdue part but he's always been a legend in my books.. ive been looking forward to this video since the mcafee show, Keep up the great content
Mike you're the reason I'm a bucs fan. The freaking GOAT 🐐 Thank you for everything ATrain. There never was another fullback like you! I appreciate all the sacrifices you made! It surely doesn't go unnoticed!
This was an awesome Episode!! keep changing the narrative and putting out awesome episodes!!!!
My favorite player of all time. I've never seen a long interview with him, this is pretty cool.
I fuckin LOVE Mike Alstott... I'm a life long Bucs life (35yrs old) & that 2002 SB team is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE roster!!! 🏈🏆🏆🤟💪 #GoBucs #ATrain
I've been a Bucs fan since Sapp and Lynch joined the team. That duo of Dunn and Alstott were my guys. Thx for everything Mike that u put on the line for the team and fans.
One of the best. I like how he low key was swinging his BDE all over the bus :)
So cool you had the A Train on. Huge Buc fan! Thanks fellas !
Monday night game St. Louis. I was there you could here a pin drop when A-Train was flipped near the end zone and didn’t get up.
What a LEGEND. Lfg. This episode was dope af
Legendary. Grew up watching alstott, had his jersey and wore #40 because of him. But on another hand this broke my heart. He’s only 48 man he sounds 78. Hope his quality of life isn’t impacted too much from being a fucking warrior

Either Mike is drunk or he is dealing with CTE. Mike never used to talked this slow.
great podcast but definitely sad to see one of my all time favorite players "punch drunk" and slurring his words like that after all the punishment he took in his career. Alstott is the fckn man though

It's weird though, he definitely wasn't like this in the PMT interview which he did less than two years ago. I'm not sure if he didn't like the boys, the setting or was actually hungover or what was up here. He was completely different on PMT with lorenzo neal and was joking around.

Everyone saying Mike is punch drunk... think he was just drunk lol. He sounds a lot different in other interviews the past couple years.
Who else remembers Chris Berman on Prime Time doing the sound effects for Mike Alstott highlights.
I literally reached for my phone to comment when he said mike and Kyle were the most iconic FBs ever before I opened KZread mike says Lorenzo Neal the exact reason why I had to comment haha
Damn boys I can’t stop my watching my guy lewan being a dude that can make anybody comfortable, just continue to know that #40 was messed up either it be some illegal substances or drunk, or CTE coming on it’s scary and I wish the best for him… you boys are great guys to just continue on and adapt to the situation most respect for real because you gentlemen still made it awesome! Thank u for your sacrifice mike A-train! Best of luck brothers
Loved Mikes game bk in the day. I'm glad that West Coast offense coaches like Andy Reid, John Gruden & Kyle Shanahan still use fullbacks in their game plan. #ChiefsKingdom
