She decided to dress nicely to show what she did and dressed down and did her best to make herself and her hair look messy to show what the stylist did because it triggers our brains to see what she did as inherently better because she made the rest of the package look nice. If you mess up your hair to make it look messy, people are going to think the stylist didn’t do a good job, when the stylist left her hair looking great, and she’s the one who fucked it up. I don’t know who she is, but that’s what OP was saying.

The stylist did an amazing job IMO. Bleaching pitch black hair is a TASK. Especially on a public person known to be a liar, with brainwashed little minions behind her who’ll shit on anybody for whatever reason.

What the hairdresser did was BEAUTIFUL. Non-hairstylists are saying that she's bad because Mikayla did not want lighter hair anymore? It's like they need someone to blame. I am sure that these are grown adults too attacking the hairdresser. Like, for real, grow up people. You don't need to drag anyone through the mud based on a hair preference. It's just immature. I’m a Gemini my hair has been the same for the past 4 years, I had a hair dresser mess up my hair(haven’t we all) I found someone 4 years ago she fixed it and has focused on keeping my hair healthy with her process and how I care for it to achieve my goals. I appreciate the work and if I decided to change it I would go to my hairdresser so she could also keep my healthy I mean if I regret it and want to go back I can’t undo permanent black box dye 😏.

The hairdresser handled this with a lot of grace and class. She comes off as a true professional and a mature person ♥️ I hope she’s feeling better than she was when people started sending her hate

I stand firmly behind her hairstylist. She did what she was asked to do, and it looked beautiful to me. Just because Mikayla has hair issues, and decided to dye her own hair black, isn't a reflection on her hairstylist. It speaks poorly of Mikeyla and her thoughtless ways. She at the very least should have gone back to her hairstylist and had her dye it black.

I don't think people are necessarily angry that she used box dye vs going to her stylist, but many are probably exasperated by her talking up her hair and showing it off and then covering it with box dye, her stylist getting flack and her not defending her stylist. I def don't care that she dyed it with box dye or anything, I'm just weirded out that her stylist is getting hate and she's not saying anything about it. Like, that's weird. I do agree tho, she should've used semi-permanent but again, it's her hair and it was her choice to spend the money at the stylist in the first place. People need to let this go.

Buying color and developing it yourself is NOT "box dye". Box dye is when it comes with a developer that you don't know the volume of. Using ion brand from Sally's and your own developer is how it's done lol. That's what we use in the hair salon lol

The stylist was doing such a beautiful job! I wish I lived wherever the shop was so I could get my hair like that. I have a feeling that Mikayla was having a deeper issue when she decided to abandon the hair journey which I could understand, but I hated how she handled it and hated it when she used her “being a Gemini” as an excuse for her actions.

Been a stylist 20 yrs, & not only did it look exactly what M wanted, but better and she did it all perfectly!

Personally I don't think Mikayla was purposely trying to send her fans to hate on the hair stylist. I mean when I saw she was dying it black again my first thought wasn't that the stylist did a bad job, her fans really jumped to conclusions. After all the work she did on Mikayla’s hair and how professionally she handled the situation- you’d think Mikayla would want to at least tell people to either stop or SOMETHING. Okay, even if I hate Mikayla's content I will like to say she didn't "box dye" it back to black. Box dye is crap you get at normal stores Target, Walmart, drugstores, etc. and the reason it's so bad is because of metals in the dye that bond to your hair. What she used is Ion, which is sold at places like Sally Beauty Supply which you mix up like they do in a salon with developer you buy separately. But what the people are saying about demi/semi permanent vs. permanent is totally valid and Mikayla doesn't have the same expertise as the hairstylist to properly use that dye.

Hairdresser/colorist . She looks waaaay better in black . And as long as she paid the stylist she s free to do whatever she wants . Removing black is tricky ; it can look orange no matter how much u tone it ; lighten it whatever + the lighting/camera can play tricks on us (big time). And that was 2/3 of the PROCESS she promised . It s unfinished work anyway.

If I were her hair dresser, I don't think I would care. Maybe I would feel bothered, but hell, I got paid.

She can absolutely not stop people from saying anything mean or negative BUT she can ask people to be kinder towards the stylist and ask that they stop. But she won’t address anything ever

I don't get why the stylists care, they got paid..... And they get paid A LOT!!

She doesn’t care that she coloured her own hair, she cares that people are leaving her hate comments for no reason, also hairdressers don’t usually get paid alot.

@@lyssak4076 Yes some hairdressers CAN make a lot.. unfortunately the majority doesn’t tho. Unless they own their own business or work for themselves.
