I first discovered Mikaela in New Orleans earlier in the year, then went to see her and the band at the Parish Public House in Albany. I'm a fan for life!

Superb tunes and musicianship. Was surprised Milarla grew up in the area I had. I was born in Schenectady, some schooling in Kingston, and relatives in Catskill. recently saw Mikaela and band where they played several new original tunes. loved the new stuff. i also must say that their interpretations of the Dead catalog are some of my fave arrangements i have heard in years. they truly put a unique spin on these American standards. all the musicians are excellent players. Don't miss them if you get the chance!
